anonymous asked: hello hope you a great day so far I was wondering if you can do another Tifa x reader scenario but this time the reader was dating Tifa but had to join SOLDIER, but now that the reader quit he wants to find Tifa and his childhood friend and SOLDIER buddy Cloud but has no idea where to start? BTW I enjoy your other scenario with not only with Tifa but with Cloud, Rufus, Reno, and many other character, and cannot wait to read more from you. :)

The slums are foreign to you, a part of Midgar you've never seen or explored before. Scrap metal lies in the road, and there's not a single patch of grass or green leaf in sight. The children play happily among the scrap, faces dirtied by the dry sand and their clothes tattered beyond belief. People sit on plastic crates and eat in restaurants made of an amalgamation of wood, metal and plastic. It feels dark and glum despite the four ginormous sun lamps beaming down on the slums, and you're certain you can't even see the outside world from the slums.

The roads are crammed with people, all going about their days as normal, some dressed in suits as they head to their jobs topside, others dressed in boiler suits as they carry out maintenance. There's a foul smell coming from one building, two people outside are talking about getting a new filter, and you know immediately that the smell belongs to the Mako. It's familiar, brings back bad memories, and there's a stab of pain in your head as you think about it.

It's almost overwhelming here, but you trek on, your heart set on one thing - Tifa. Your childhood sweetheart, the one that got away - or was it you that got away? You had left just before Cloud to join the SOLDIER program as a young adult, with the desire to become one of the strongest men on the planet and stop the supposedly evil forces opposing Shinra. But it was short lived, and soon after Cloud left you too departed, Tifa the only light in the dark.

And when you finally see her, your heart leaps into your throat, the woman at the forefront of your mind no longer just a memory, but a reality. She's real, smiling brightly at the blond man she's talking too, hands on her hip. She punches his arm affectionately, and it's only upon closer inspection that you realise it's Cloud she's standing with. But Tifa is the apple of your eye - the one person you've been looking for for all these months, starting with nothing and ending up with the world.

You take a cautious step forward, then hesitate, watching as she shakes her head fondly as he walks away - you'd see him later. But for now Tifa was your focus, and you watch silently as she looks around at the day to day life. She freezes when her bright red orbs meet yours, eyes widening a fraction at the sight of you. She blinks owlishly, as if she can't believe its you standing there, and she takes a step forwards, mouth dropping open slightly at the sight of you, as if she thinks you'll evaporate into thin air if she comes to close to you.

There's a tense moment, a pregnant pause, as the two of you take each other in, and she lets out a breathy laugh in disbelief.
