Chapter Six: Wellston's Jack

A/N:

Wrote this in anticipation for the new chapter of unOrdinary to come out today. Anyway, would've updated sooner but I ran out of ideas, so I decided to finally kick off the plot of unOrdinary. Im gonna skip John and Sera's trip to the mall,  as it's kinda filler until John lends Sera the unOrdinary book. So anyway, chappie time!!

Arlo's PoV:

Isen wrote about the fight between two transfers the other day. It seems, interesting. The most interesting one was the one I bumped into earlier that day. I think his name was Son Goku. I need him to challenge Blyke for the Jack title, so I can carry out my plan. And I know just how to do it...

Goku's PoV:

As I was walking towards the cafeteria for lunch, I was stopped by someone. I looked up to see the King of Wellston, Arlo, standing in front of me. I was about to apologize and walk around him, but he spoke up. "Do you like fighting?" He asked me out of the blue. "Uhh, yeah? What about it?" I responded. "Well, I read Isen's story on your fight with the other new transfer, and I think that you are fit for the job as Jack. Don't worry, it's a simple job. To get it, you need to beat the current Jack in a fight. Are you in?" He asked. "Sure, it sounds fun to fight someone strong! I can't wait! When and where is the fight?!" I said excitedly. "Today in the afternoon, come to the bus station at 5 pm.  Don't be late." He responded. And then he walked away.

-Time Skip to Saturday-

Goku's PoV:

I was getting ready to fight the Jack of Wellston! Im so pumped! I then noticed that I had 10 minutes left, and the train station is on the other side of town. Aw crap! Am I gonna be late to the thing I was so excited for?? Ah! I got an idea! , I thought before tying my belt, putting on my wristbands, and finally my boots (he is just wearing his normal turtle school gi he always wears). I headed out of my dorm, and went into an empty alley. "Flying Nimbus!" I shouted, and a familiar yellow cloud came zooming at me. I got on, and flew really high up so no one would see a random yellow cloud just flying around.  On my nimbus, I got there in less than two minutes. I saw that the coast was clear, flew down, and hopped off the yellow cloud, and it flew off.

 That's when I noticed Seraphina staring at me along with Arlo, Remi, and Blyke.

Dammit.

Blyke? Blyke's the Jack? (I should also mention that Blyke is a 5.2 in this story, so yay Blyke ain't no bitch) I thought. Seraphina was shocked. Arlo was standing there wide eyed. Remi looked amazed. Blyke had his mouth agape. "Hey guys! Am I late?" I said nervously, hoping that they didn't see me on the Nimbus. "Oh. My. God. You can ride a cloud?" Sera said, and I was scared. "U-uh please don't tell anyone!" I said quickly, as I didn't want anyone else to know about it. "THAT IS SO COOL!!" Blyke, Sera, and Remi exclaimed in unison. "Can I ride it, please???" Remi and Sera both said with puppy dog eyes. "You have to be pure of heart to ride it. It can only fit two people, three if you try hard enough." I said. They all wanted to see if they could sit on it. "Flying Nimbus!" I called, and the cloud returned. First, Arlo tried, and fell right through. Next was Blyke, and he got the same result. Sera tried next, and she fell, but slower than Arlo and Blyke. Lastly was Remi, and she sat on it, no problem. "Can I ride it over there, please???" Remi said, puppy dog eyes returning. "Alright, fine. But, we will go at the same speed as the train, alright?" I told her. "Yay!!" She exclaimed. Sera was a little sour that she couldn't ride the cloud. I kinda felt bad, but she got over it quickly. "Alright then, we will see you guys over there!" I said, getting on the cloud.
