The game was incredible. The entire time, I didn't know where to look. My eyes kept darting about every which way and I screamed so hard, my throat was raw by the end of it. Next to me, Ron was jumping up and down, yelling as well. Harry was whooping and Hermione was simply grinning and clapping. She wasn't as into Quidditch as the rest of us but she was still having so much fun.
None of us could stop smiling as we walked back to the tent afterwards. Ireland's victory had been quite spectacular and we couldn't quite believe we were there to witness it. We stayed up and had a few cups of cocoa before Ginny collapsed onto the table. Dad ordered us all to bed and we all reluctantly agreed. Despite the fun we'd been having, everyone was exhausted.
Hermione, Ginny and I bid goodnight to everyone before clambering into our own tent. Ginny dropped off almost immediately but Hermione and I sat on our beds and talked quietly for a while.
After having a ridiculous giggling fit over the most ridiculous thing, Hermione turned to me and whispered, "You know, I love the boys but it's nice to hang out with another girl sometimes, you know?"
I nodded. "Yeah, I mean it can't be easy having only my brother and Harry for company in Gryffindor house," I said before quickly adding, "And Ginny now of course."
Hermione nodded. "But I suppose it can't be easy for you either really. Your entire family has been Gryffindor."
"It was hard at first, but it's nice not having to rely on my brothers for friends. I have my own family in my house and I don't have to spend too much time with my brothers." I joked, shuddering. She chuckled.
Not long after that, Hermione began to drift into sleep, but for some reason, I wasn't tired.
And that brings you up to date. I'm lying in my bed, attempting to write in my diary by the faint light of my wand. My wand is currently tucked between my teeth, the covers thrown over my head as I scribble in this thing.
I have around so many books now! I keep getting them for my birthday and I just love writing in them. Of course, I hide them as best I can. It would be just mortifying if anyone found them, not to mention the amount of trouble I'd get everyone into because of the things in them.
Wait a minute, something is happening outside. I think there are people screaming. I'm going to wake Hermione and Ginny and find out what's happening. I'll get back to you soon.
