Lucas started the car and my eyes fixed on a familiar face with the policemen helping them out then pointing to our car. It was someone I would never have expected.

There, standing and pointing at the car raising his eyebrow was Leo Thompson, strands of his blonde messy hair hung perfectly over his face. The most popular, jockey boy in our school was with the police, helping the police.

What?

I mean you would expect him to get in trouble and end up in the police station but being there helping them search a crime scene? That made no sense.

"Is that Leo?" I asked Lucas quietly as he pulled out of the place we were parked and started to drive away.

He was silent for a second, with his jaw clenched before he huffed."Yeh, his Uncle's the chief of police, truth be told he is the best one there, the guy's smart. He's the only one who has ever been close to catching us." Lucas admitted keeping his eyes on the road.

Wow, I would have never guessed, I mean I thought my school was the normal cliche of students now I'm finding out I couldn't be more wrong. I wonder why I've never heard that before. I guess I can't be the only one who doesn't know, something like that would spread around our school like wildfire.

"Give me your address I will drop you home"

Just like that? Wow, that was surprisingly easy. I mean he made a big fuss about how I could tell anyone and now he's just gonna let me go? I don't get this boy.

I raised my eyebrows at him before telling him my address and he put it into the satnav.

"Have you already talked to the other members of your gang about this?"

"Don't need to, I'm in charge I make the big decisions and I say you can go," Lucas commented bluntly looking down at the satnav for a second before looking back up at the road.

"But how do you know I can keep my gob shut," I mocked in a sing-song way making sure he knew his comment annoyed me.

He smirked. "Can you?"

"Well...." I joked. " You did frow my frap away, a frap that I paid for! So here's the deal buy me back my frap and my mouth will be celled."

He rolled his eyes. "God, you really wanna go out for a drink with me huh?"
What?!
"What no! That's not what I meant! You don't get a drink I do!-" I felt my face turn warm.

"It's a Deal." He smirked then reached in his pocket and pulled out my phone handing it to me. I took it back and powered it on. I hadn't even realized I didn't have it with me.

I guess they took it so I couldn't call anyone but I completely forgot about it anyway.

When my phone turned on it buzzed over and over and over again, even Lucas was weirded out and raised his eyebrow taking a quick peek away from the road looking down at my phone, I had 87 messages and 64 missed calls.

Oh no.

"Someones surprisingly popular." Lucas laughed. But I couldn't laugh, my lungs tightened as my head began to sting, clearly I couldn't hide my panic well because Lucas' expression changed.

It was my mum.

I didn't even want to think about how she would react when I got home. I bit my lip and unlocked my phone, it was filled with what started as apologies and being told to come home, then It got to answer the phones, followed by my mum assuming I was doing this to get back at her, she started swearing and using capital letters, her last message read.
