"I'll be there anak. Baka mapasigaw pa nga ako habang kinukuha mo ang diploma." Sabi ni papa habang kausap ko sa telepono.
"I don't mind paps. At least alam ko na sumipot ka talaga." I'm honestly sad that he's not the person beside me during our graduation ceremony.
Nasa labas ako ng convention center dito mismo sa unibersidad na pagtatapusan ko. I'm just waiting for kuya Ali to arrive dahil siya ang makakasama ko sa buong seremonya.
"Sab okay ba ang suot ko?" Tanong sa'kin ni Edmerson na medyo naiirita. He's wearing a maroon tuxedo, just like the color of our university logo.
"You look so handsome." I said, matangkad si Edmerson at firm ang muscles sa braso kaya saktong-sakto sa kanya ang suot.
"Isa ka rin," Inirapan ako nito. "Isipin mo, susuotin ko 'to ng ilang oras kaloka! Palit nga tayo akin na 'yang dress mo."
"Kung pwede lang." Ako naman ang umirap. My dress is not that bad, actually. I just find it uncomfortable since I don't usually wear one.
Mine is a forest green embroidered dress given to me by papa. He had bought it in Monaco on one of their stopovers.
"Sige na tulungan mo nalang si Cris doon." Pagturo ko sa isang kaibigan na naasar din dahil hindi ito pinayagang magsuot ng heels.
Nakasuot na ako ng itim na toga. Suot ko na rin ang academic cap habang patingin-tingin sa cellphone.
As I was waiting for kuya Ali, bigla akong naka-received ng message galing kay Hazel.

It said. Napangiti ako habang sinusunod ang utos niya.
And there... my jaw dropped as soon as I saw the most stunning woman I had ever laid eyes on. We've talked about wearing the same outfit, but hers is an off-shoulder emerald maxi dress that accentuates her attractive physique superbly.
I'm a proud girlfriend here.
"Hi..." She said and I'm left speechless. I can't even stop staring. Narinig ko nalang ang mahinang pagtawa ng mommy niya.

"Mom" Saway ni Hazel.
Napasinghap ako. "Wow." I'm still overawed.
"Exactly," Her mom whispered. "By the way congratulations, darling! You both made it. I'm so proud of you girls!" Biglang nag-boost ang energy niya at niyakap kami ni Hazel ng sabay.
Doon na ako natauhan habang si Hazel ay nakangiti.
"Congrats baby..." Bulong niya sa akin.
