millie and i walked in and immediately smelled weed and alcohol.

"oh my god, hi!" iris shouted over the music. she pulled both me and millie into a hug.

"hi," we smiled.

"im glad you guys made it," millie and i weren't close friends with iris but we had her in some of our classes and she was always really nice to us.

"you guys want anything to drink?" she asked, leading us into her kitchen.

millie and i looked at each other.

"just some water." i said.

"you sure?" she looked at us.

"very." millie chuckled. we weren't really fans of getting drunk at parties, the only times we've ever drank were in millies room when her parents went out for the night and left the liquor cabinet open.

iris reached into a cooler and handed us two water bottles.

"hey, iris, you gotta see this." a girl ran up to her and started pulling her away.

"oh- i gotta go. have fun, let me know if you need anything." she yelled as she was being pulled outside.

millie and i went outside to dance for a little until we got tired. We walked into the living room to see people sitting in a circle.

"what are they doing?" i asked.

"seven minutes in heaven." millie gasped. "let's play." she grabbed my hand and started dragging me towards the circle.

"no , these people probably have mono." i protested.

"you'll be fine, sit." she patted the space next to her. i sat down and watched people spin the bottle and go into the closest. they came out with messed up hair and ruffled clothes.

"y/n, your turn." millie turned to me. i sighed and reached over to spin the bottle.

i didn't bother looking at who it'd land on until millie started laughing.

"what?" i looked at her. she smiled and pointed and the bottle. i looked down and then tracked who the bottle had landed on.

finn.

we both got up and stepped into the 3 by 5 closet. It was so small, we were practically already right in front of each other.

there was a small light hanging from the ceiling that still let us see each other.

seeing him up close, he was acting kinda cute. the way his curly hair fell onto his forehead.

"hi," he smiled.

"hi," i replied, looking at the clothes next to us.

"i promise i won't throw any paper at you." he chuckled.

finn had been bothering me for a month now, i didn't have much of an interest in kissing him.

"look, i know ive probably been annoying you," he looked down at me.

"probably?" i raised my eyebrows. he chuckled.

"im sorry." he smiled, stepping closer to me, i could feel his breath.

i looked up at him, he looked so angelic. something about him being so close made me feel almost nervous.

"you okay?" he grinned.

i didn't respond.

"nervous?" he chuckled, pulling me closer to him.

"no." i let out a shaky breath.

"are you sure? i can feel the whole closet shake." he smiled down at me.

i quickly looked away.

i felt his hands wrap around my waist pulling me closer. i looked down at what he was doing and back up at him, my eyes wide.

i opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.

he looked down at my lips and kissed me.
