Chapter 14: Hawkmoth's identity

~Melissa's POV~

After I broke down in tears, I felt a bit light-headed and everything went black. I opened my eyes to see I was in Arctica. I saw Hawkmoth. I realized that I was in someone's body. This happened with Meilin last year. I saw Hawkmoth detransform and I realized who it was. It was Gabriel Agreste. I had to tell Adrien. Gabriel looked at me. 

"What are you doing here?" Gabriel asked.

"What are you doing here? Get the hell out from my nation." I said. I used a spell and revealed my actual self. Gabriel looked at me in shock.

"I thought Chole killed you!" Gabriel said and I saw his kwami looking at me in fear. I know how scared that poor thing was. I ran up to Gabriel and took the moth miraculous. 

"You thought it will be easy to kill me? Please. I survived an entire army and a tsunami. Thanks for the miraculous!" I said. I went out of the guard's body and woke up in the house with everyone looking at me. I opened my hand and revealed the miraculous. Nooroo was right next to me. 

"How did you get that?" Marinette asked me. I looked at Adrien.

"I have some bad news. Adrien, your father-" I started to say.

"He's dead??? No! It can't be true!!" Adrien cried. 

"No. He's-" I started to say again.

"Caught the flu. No, COVID-19. No, bond sickness from your world." Adrien said. I grabbed his shirt collar and Adrien stopped.

"HE'S HAWKMOTH YOU BLIND IDIOT!!! DO I NEED YOU TO TAKE YOU TO A F**KING DOCTOR???" I yelled and everyone other than Worthy looked at me in shock. 

"Never make Melissa mad or she and I mean WILL fight you to the death. You can never win an argument with her." Worthy said and Adrien looked at me in shock. 

"My father is Hawkmoth?" Adrien said and freed himself from my grasp. 

"That's impossible. Gabriel was akumatized a few months ago." Tikki said. I opened the moth miraculous to find a woman that looks exactly like Adrien.

"Then, can you tell me why this woman is in the miraculous and looks exactly like you?" I asked and showed everyone. Adrien's eyes went wide and a tear fell from his cheek. 

"Mother." Adrien sobbed and held the miraculous. I noticed something. Hawkmoth's wish was to bring Adrien's mother back. Marinette put an arm on Adrien's shoulder.

"I may have also figured out his wish as well," I said and focused on Adrien's mother. I managed to make a portal to her body. 

I realized that this wasn't a grave. Everyone walked into the portal and looked around. I walked up to the body and broke the glass but not touching the body. I read that phoenixes can give life (A/N: I don't know if that's true) but I never tried it. I focused a bit of energy into the dead body and Adrien's mother opened her eyes. She looked at me then saw Adrien. They just stared at each other. 

"Adrien?" I heard her ask. 

"Mom?" Adrien said and ran to her crying happy tears. Adrien's mother hugged him. I walked over to Worthy and fell into his arms. 

I was a bit tired. Worthy picked me up bridal style and carried me through the portal. I fell asleep in his arms. 

~The next day~

I woke up in the house and stood up and changed into my regular clothes. I went to Marinette and Adrien's house. I knocked on the door and Adrien's mother opened it.
