On Starkiller Base, Kylo Ren and General Hux were talking with the giant hologram of Supreme Leader Snoke. He was aware of the situation they were in with the device and the future Empress of the galaxy. Snoke was angry at her insolence, but knew she was up to something. All he knew is that neither she nor the Resistance could have the device in their hands.

"The droid will soon be delivered to the Resistance," Snoke told the Knight of Ren and the General. "Leading them to our secret weapon. If they find out what we know, they can destroy it before it is our time to use it."

"Supreme Leader, I take full responsibility for-" Hux tried to say before getting cut off.

"GENERAL!" Snoke shouted as he stood up, his voice echoing in the room. "Our strategy must now change."

Hux smirked at this. "The weapon, it is ready," he told him. "I believe the time has come to use it. We shall destroy the government that supports the Resistance. The Republic. Without their friends to protect them, the Resistance will be vulnerable and we will stop them before they can reach what we know."

Snoke seemed to like the plan as he sat back down on his chair. "Go," he ordered. "Oversee the preparations."

"Yes, Supreme Leader," Hux replied. Kylo Ren looked over at him and the General could tell that he was glaring at him underneath the mask. Hux simply glared back as he turned around and left the room.

"There has been an awakening," Snoke said to Kylo Ren. "Have you felt it?"

"Yes," Kylo Ren replied with a nod. He remembered feeling it ever since they massacred Tuanal Village on Jakku. He had a suspicion as to who it could be, but kept quiet for now. He couldn't say anything to the Supreme Leader in case he was wrong.

"There's something more," Snoke continued. "The droid we seek is aboard the Millennium Falcon in the hands of your father and sister. Han and Padmé Solo."

Kylo Ren bit his lip underneath the mask. He thought back to his two family members, upset that they were involved in this now. He thought he had seen the last of them back when he destroyed Luke's Jedi Order. The Knights of Ren told him that they had killed his sister and his father was no where to be found. They lied to him.

"They mean nothing to me," Kylo Ren spoke after a moment of silence, but sounding quite unsure in his voice.

Snoke seemed to sense this. "Even you, Master of the Knights of Ren, have never faced such a test," he said. "Not even our future Empress, who is facing her test right now as we speak."

"By the grace of your training, I will not be seduced," Kylo Ren said, but wasn't confident in those words.

"We shall see," Snoke said as he leaned forward. "We shall see."

The hologram disappeared in front of Kylo Ren, who knew that the Supreme Leader had sensed the conflict inside him.

...

Alarms rang in the Millennium Falcon as they were traveling through lightspeed. Padmé and Han were both frustrated when the jump to lightspeed in the hangar had caused problems in the ship. Now they knew to never try that kind of stunt again after today. They tried to fix the problems as best at they could, knowing that one mistake could cause for them to die.

"Electrical overload!" Han shouted as something had broken.

"I can fix that!" Rey said as she stood up and started fumbling with the wires.

"The coolant's leaking!" Padmé pointed out.

Rey thought for a quick second before coming up with what to do. "Try transferring auxiliary power to-"
