Rey and Finn were outside the Falcon, getting the ship ready. The fire was put out and they fixed anything that was broken from the lightspeed skipping. The Falcon was a piece of junk, but she had a lot of memories for the group. Without her, they would be dead. Now they would use her for their last mission; finding Exegol once more.
"So, you got her up and running?" The two heard Poe ask, coming towards them with Padmè, Alinah, Chewie, C-3PO, R2-D2, and BB-8.
"You were right before," Rey admitted. "We're going to pick up Luke's search for Exegol. We're going to start where his trail went cold. The Forbidden Desert of Pasaana."
Poe nodded and patted her arm. "I know," he told her. "We're going with you."
Rey furrowed her eyebrows as Poe walked past her, everyone following him. She grabbed Finn's arm, knowing that he was up to this. "Finn, did you tell them?" She asked. "We need to go alone. You're already going with me. We can't endanger anyone else."
"Yeah, alone with friends," Finn replied. "We need all the help we can get, especially since four of us are Jedi. They should be included in finding Exegol."
"But it's too dangerous, Finn!" Rey protested.
Finn took both of her hands and squeezed them tight. Rey looked down at their hands, squeezing his hands back. Finn then lifted up one of his hands and cupped her cheek, Rey blushing at this. He smiled at her, as a way to reassure her. He knew she was nervous for everyone else, but they needed help whether they liked it or not.
"We go together," Finn told her, stroking her cheek.
Alinah smiled and patted Rey's shoulder. "Exactly," she added. "You need us and we wouldn't let you two do this by yourselves."
"And I need to make sure that the Falcon doesn't explode under your watch," Padmè joked. "But seriously, I'm here to help and you're going to get it from me."
Chewie roared as BB-8 and R2-D2 beeped in agreement. "I whole heartedly agree!" C-3PO added.
Rey looked at everyone, who all smiled at her. She smiled back and shook her head. They were right; she could use their help. Everyone then went their separate ways to get ready for the mission. Padmè and Chewie began to prep the ship while everyone else went to get supplies.
On the way back with supplies, Alinah bumped into Rose. "Hey Rose!" She called out. "Last chance to join us!"
Rose sighed and shook her head. "I can't. The General asked me to study the specs of the old Destroyers," she told her. "So we can stop the fleet if you find it."
Alinah furrowed her eyebrows and smirked at her. "If we find the fleet?" She questioned.
Rose chuckled at her. "When you find the fleet," she said.
Alinah patted her shoulder. "When," she said. Then she pulled her into a hug. "I'll miss you, Rose."
Rose hugged her back and smiled into her arms. "I'll miss you too," she said. "Now don't go dying on me, alright? I can't have my favorite Jedi get killed on a mission."
Alinah chuckled as she pulled away. "I'll be fine, don't worry," she reassured her.
Meanwhile, Rey was standing by herself, looking out at the jungle. She stared at the beauty of the jungle, the planet she had been on for over a year now. It was a beautiful place, one of the most beautiful planets she had ever seen. There was a feeling inside her, telling her that she would never see it again. So she took in the beauty for one last time, admiring it while she could. She now realized that green was her favorite color.
