He walked into his mother's embrace. "I've got a lot to explain. I hope you can forgive me." she said burring her head deeper into her son inhaling his scent.
It's been so long she thought to herself.
Jason, cobli and their mom sat in the waiting room. It was silent and the tension was high. There was myraid of questions running through Jason's head however he couldn't bring himself to ask.
He thought he should've just been happy that his mom was here in the first place. he tried to convince himself that, that was enough. But it wasn't...
"Mom."
"Jason."
The two simultaneously perked there bodies up in an attempt to start the conversation first.
Colbi looking over to the two and knew they were about to have the conversation and swiftly left. She didn't have any business getting involved. She decided it'll only make it worse for Jason as their mother trusted her enough to tell her from the get go.
"Jason, I just want to say that I'm sorry. I should've never left you guys the way I did but- "
"How? How did you do it? how did you look at us and then decide to walk away?" Jason said his voice hiding all traces of emotion.
"I had to. So, I could keep you all safe in the long run."
Once Jason's mom said that it then hit him.
He was no better.
He'd done the exact same thing. At this moment he understood truly how Felix felt and rightfully so. He wanted an explanation before running into his mother's arm that's what Felix probably wanted.
Jason's mom sensed that her son wasn't satisfied with her answer, so she went further into detail.
"I'm trying to assemble a pack. Hunters completely eradicated all mystical creatures but I know that if I track down as many people with some wolf blood in them. I could bring them back. So, I found and trained them until they were able to connect with their wolves. I would've thought only alphas could do so much things but anyone with wolf blood has to potential of awakening their wolf."
Jason's mom looked passionate when talking about her plan. Jason was surprised to say the least that she'd try to do something like that.
"You're a wolf too?" Jason said his eyebrows raised. His mom scoffed at his question.
"I'm the strongest. I'm the alpha. I hope you can forgive me Jason."
"Yes, mom." Jason said covering his moms' hand with his own. Jason mum let out a smile as she looked at her son. However, Jason's mind was troubled. Now he knew that he owed Felix an explanation.
"You can visit him now." A nurse said walking into the waiting room towards Jason.
And it was now or never.
Jason stood up putting his hand up to halt his mom who was following along. "I need to do something first." He said.
His mother nodded in understanding. Jason disappeared through the halls. He nearing Felix's room and all sorts of thoughts went through his head.
What if he still doesn't forgive me. how can I live with myself?
Once Jason entered the room, he noticed Felix flinched at his sight. It was shocking for Felix to see Jason back to his normal self.
He knew what he saw but a part of him still refused to believe it. Jason? It wasn't Jason out there. he thought, then who was it?
"Felix...what you saw." Jason said pausing for a while before regaining the courage to continue, "It wasn't a hallucination. It wasn't some sort of dream. I- "
"Stop." Felix said stopping Jason in his tracks.
His lifted his head looking directly into Jason's eyes.
he figured out the rest.
He knew that he shouldn't but at that moment he felt selfish. All the hate he harboured for Jason, the things he'd thought. Even the way he pushed him away when all he wanted to do was jump in his arms. He never really thought about what Jason was going through.
Felix took his arm and hung it over the bed towards Jason. Jason took no time before walking closer towards Felix and taking his hands within his own.
"I hope you can forgive me. Felix." Jason said his sombre eyes taking in all of Felix.
It felt good to finally be reunited.
Jason fell down not his knees his eyes not leaving Felix. He placed his hand softly upon Felix's cheek.
Those hands.
For now, they were clean. But they'd been bloodied over and over again for the sake of the man in front of him. And if need be, he'd do it all over again.
He etched his face closer and closer. Felix closed his eyes in response.
He'd missed this so badly.
He needed it.
desperately.
They are closer and closer before the surface of their lips collided in a blissful kiss. Jason could hear the voice in his head going haywire. He only now just knew what the term mate meant as ace continuously repeated it in his head.
"So...he's the one huh?" a voice from behind them said.
The boys separated.
Felix turned his head away from Jason's mom with a bashful look on his face. he felt warmth creep up onto his face.
right in front of him was Jason's mom. He'd never met her, and all Jason ever told her was that she disappeared. How she was right in front of him he couldn't help but feel some sort of pressure.
The women walked up towards Felix before grasping his hands within her own. "It's nice to meet you." She had a smile on her face which reached from cheek to cheek. "I'm Jason's mom, Amelia."
