People I Don't Know

A promise

Erin POV:

I heard Luis voice as I walked into the living room lounge. He's not just talking to someone he's almost shouting. I believe in this whole mansion Neel is his easy prey. So I rushed to check what's happening.

When I reached them, Luis looked furious. I avert my eyes on her, she's crying. Her innocent face looked red, tears rolling out of her eyes and she stood there still.

My heart melted when she gave me a look with her red swollen torn eyes. Just a while ago I saw her happy face. I just wanted to go and hug her. She looked back at Luis who's breathing heavily.

I started worrying about her. What happened and why she's crying? Before I could ask Luis what's going on,
"This family has some good reputation in the society, please don't ruin it." He snarled looking at her. She said nothing, she's not even trying to defend herself.

"Now go to your room and lock the fucking door?" He yelled at her. I didn't do anything rather than watching him yell at her and leave the spot.

I tried to walk towards her when Luis left but without waiting a second she ran upstairs. I wanted to ask Luis what's wrong or what happened before going to her.

I walked fast towards Luis
"Hey! What happened?" I questioned him walking behind him.
He shook his head and didn't spare to look at me.
"Come on man... Tell me what happened." I stopped him.
He looked not interested to talk about it.

"You doesn't have to be that rude making a girl cry," I explained.
"Seriously! You telling me that?" He asked sarcastically raising his eyebrows.
"Just tell me what happened." I left a sniff.

"I saw her with Shane." He said looking away.
"Shane?" I mumbled.
"Yeh! They are making out." He said and started walking again.
"What?" I grunted in shock. I frowned on my forehead.

I can't believe that, but I believe Shane can do anything. Anger ragged in my veins and I tightened my fist. I rushed into the gaming room. I saw Shane, he is seated on the couch, leaning his head backwards with closed eyes.

I went towards him and grabbed the rim of his t-shirt. He opened his eyes wide,
"What's wrong?" He asked me as he tried to pull his t-shirt off my hands.

"Asshole!" I cursed him making him stand on his feet.

"What happened Erin? Leave him." I heard Jack from the back. He grabbed my waist and tried to pull me.

"How dare you to touch her?" I said with my gritted teeth. Luis interfered and pulled Shane out of my grip.

"I did nothing. You gotta believe me this time." Shane said adjusting his t-shirt.

"Nothing happened?" Luis mumbled looking at Shane with frowned eyebrows.

"Yes! Nothing happened." He cleared.

"But I saw it with my eyes. Stop lying Shane." Luis yelled.

"Fuck what you saw, I'm telling you I did nothing. We are just talking, in fact, I forced her to talk with me." Shane said.

I felt a bit relieved when I heard his words but still, I'm mad at him for forcing her.

"I told you to stay away from her." I spat at him.

"So that you can be around her huh?" He questioned looking at my face.

"It's none of your business." I snapped aggressively.

"Then this is also non of your business, it's my choice and who the fuck are you to come in between?" He raised his voice and stepped close to me.
