Closer to me

Today is Sunday, Rachel planned to call everyone over for dinner as Erin came back.

We never invited anyone to our apartment since we moved here. So it will be great to have everyone in our apartment for a meal.

Rachel invited Luis, Erin, and Shane. They will be here in the evening, we decided what to cook for the dinner. Nothing extravagant, just a simple dinner.

After making dinner, we all got ready and settled in the living waiting for them. I wonder how it is going to be, our apartment is not that big though.

Erin and Luis walked in together, after five minutes Shane joined us. I and Tori sat next to each other on the opposite couch. Shane sat on a chair near the kitchen. Rachel sat next to Luis on the big couch, Erin by his side.

Erin gave me an arrogant look and assessed my body. I turned my head towards Tori as I felt strange under his gaze.

"You should look at Shane, he's so hot in that white t-shirt," Tori whispered in my ears. I looked at him and felt surprised as he's already watching me.

"We should eat, it's getting late." Rachel said breaking our awkward looks.

We walked towards our small dining table. Rachel settled down first on a chair, Luis sat next to her and Erin next to Luis. Tori went and sat next to another side of Rachel, I thought of sitting next to Tori but Shane sat next to her leaving a chair in between him and Erin.

Perfect!

I occupied the remaining seat, as the dining table is really small we need to adjust a little. Almost everyone are close and Erin sat even closer to me.

We started eating our food, Luis kept making silly jokes. I have never seen him this energetic before. In between our talks and eating Erin hold my hand under the table making me choke.

Glad no one noticed me.

"What?" I asked him looking at his face. He squeezed my hand a little while licking his fork and kept staring at me.

"Nothing! What are your plans after dinner?" He asked but he didn't release my hand.

"I don't have any rather than sleeping," I tell him trying to take my hand from his grip.

"Sounds interesting." He said and smirked.

"What's so interesting in it?" I asked him. He said nothing.

"You should leave my hand, I can't eat with my single hand," I beg him, he chuckled softly and removed his hand.

We finished our dinner and went back to the living room. Shane left as soon as he completed dinner. Rachel is going to the mansion along with Luis. I miss my room in the mansion.

Rachel and Luis left, Erin said he will be going too. Tori went inside her room giving us space to talk before he leaves.

"Wanna come out with me?" He asked looking at my face.

"Where?" I widened my eyes.

"To the parking lot." He said and laughed.

"Oh! I think you know the way." I retorted.

"Come down and give me a send-off." He scoffed.

"Um.. fine. Let's go." I said and stood on my feet.

We walked out of the living room and went down. He didn't try to say anything but he kept looking at me and smiling as we walk towards his car.

"You are acting weird," I said looking at his smile. His smile grew even bigger.
