Accept it
Hannah's pov
I woke up on the couch, still lying in jakes arms, I looked at my phone. Shit! It's the 17th of dec! It's jakes birthday!
Underneath the date I noticed a text from Nicky.
N- wedding in one week Argh! Come to the hub for some breakfast and a chat.
Well he obviously thinks everything can just go back to normal quickly doesn't he! Anyway I text back.
H- alright, I'll see you in half an hour.
I kissed Jake to wake him up, he woke up with a fright and in his cute morning voice he said
J- woah wow morning
H- morning happy birthday
J- is it my birthday! Oh Yes it is! Haha!
H- no it's not I just randomly said that. Of course it is
J- what a nice birthday present I got
He kissed me on the forehead and sat up obviously still tired.
H- listen I gotta go out for a bit I'm meeting Nicky for breakfast in the hub. Make yourself some breakfast and I'll be back soon.
J- ok. And don't be too long, I'll miss you l.
H- I'll bring you a little something back if you want to sleep longer.
J- sounds like heaven, this couch isn't as comfy as I remember it. I need more sleep.
H- go upstairs and get in bed of you want.
J- ok. I'll see you in Abit.
He got up and walked upstairs wearily.
I laughed at how cute he was when he was tired and headed out.
I got into the car and drove into town and parked as close to the hub as I could. The food was lovely but it was dead centre in town so it was hard to get to.
I went in and sat down at a table, just as the waitress brought over the menus Nicky walked in.
N- hey
H- hi - I had a big smile on my face because I just couldn't hold in how happy I was about Jake and I
N- Oohh someone looks happy, what happened did you pull? Haha
H- well sort of but not pulled exactly.
Nicky face dropped.
N- what?
H- i told you that I was going on a date with Jake. It went really well and we are back together I suppose.
N- what's wrong with you?! He cheated on you? Why are you with him again?
H- woah Nicky calm down it's not like your going to whisk me off of my feet is it? Besides Jakes amazing he regrets what he did and he has changed. Me and you are just and always will be friends. I don't get why your so annoyed?
N- exactly we are friends. Best friends, for as long as I can remember. He hurt you and I don't like watching you get hurt.
I was getting angry
H- well you were alright hurting me! So what? It's ok for you to hurt me but no one else? Well let me tell you something. What Jake did doesn't even come close to what you did. I forgave you why can't I forgive him? You know what? I don't even want to listen to what you have to say. It's my BOYFRIENDS birthday and I'm sat here with you. Not anymore. Bye.

I stormed out and got in my car. He ran after me. I slammed my car door shut and he was banging on the windows.
I started to drive away. He was still running with the car shouting me, I ignored him, pushed down on my accelerator and speeded away. I was too angry to even look at him.
I drove to McDonald's and got myself and Jake some breakfast I was just in time, they were about to stop serving.
I drove home, my phone began to ring, it was Nicky I ignored it.
I got home and Jake was still upstairs in bed. I ran up and opened my bedroom door, he was too naked, wow he looked good. I jumped on him to wake him up.
H- wakey wakey!
J- oh! Ah! You scared me!
H- it was my intention. Come on then I got you maccies breakfast downstairs.
J- see this is why I love you.
I stopped for a minute woah. We had only been back together for 5 minutes. Was we really ready to say that again?
Jake picked up on my face. He looked awkward.
I suppose that if I didn't love him it wouldn't be so easy to forgive and be so comfy around him.
H- I'm amazing aren't I. Love you too.
He smiled, I smiled too. We kissed and went down stairs.
We sat at the table eating our breakfast.
J- you ok there greedy? Breakfast at the hub and now a maccies? Haha
H- I didn't eat at the hub
J- why?
H- I had an argument with Nicky and stormed out.
J- what why?
H- it doesn't matter. It's your birthday don't what to stress you.
J- we tell each other everything, that's the deal. No matter what day it is. Ok?
H- ok. It was about you, he didn't want me to be back with you.
J- what why?
H- he thinks you haven't changed blah blah blah.
J- he doesn't know me though?
H- I know, besides its my life I have my own mind I can do whatever I want. What I want is you, so that's what I'm having.
Jake leaned over and put his hand on my knee, we put our heads together and just sat there, it was so cute.
My phone rang, again it was Nicky.
J- let me answer it.
H- no leave it.
J- no he can't shout at you like that. It's not on.
J- hello?
Jakes pov
How dare he? He hasn't seen me on over 4 months so he can't go judging me. Actually I'm not bothered about him thinking bad of me but no way am I letting him speak to my girl like that!
Hannah's phone rang, it was him. I answered it.
J- hello?
N- Hannah thank god you answered, we nee to talk.
J- wrong. It's not Hannah and you don't need to talk to her.
N- what? Put her on the phone!
J- no! Listen mate, I don't know who you think you are, but there's no way you are speaking to her after the way you spoke to her this morning. You don't know anything about our situation so you can't judge. If you was to carry being her mate you better shape up and get used to the idea of us because that's what's happening. Bye.
I hung up.
H- wow
J- it needed to be said
H- Thankyou
J- you don't need to thank me. What kind of boyfriend am I if I can't defend you against dicks like him?
H- yes I suppose. Love you
J- U more
We laughed and cuddled close.
I really do love her
