Reunion
Lucy's pov...
I wandered over to the mysterious man and I could feel myself going red already.
Man- hey I like your way of revenge. Never gonna get on the wrong side of you.
L- haha. Well hopefully you'll never do anything as bad as him.
He laughed and looked down.
Man- I'm Phil, Phil Hunter - I work with Cass. We're quite close actually.
L- well hello Phil, I'm Lucy. Oh wow I hope your not too close to Cass, I'm sure Simon and your lovely girlfriend would have something to say about that?
P- actually I don't have a girlfriend so theirs no one on my end to be worried and no no not in that way. She's not my type, just friends.
Yes! He's single
He laughed
L- what?
P- you sorta said that out loud.
L- no seriously! I always do that.
I felt myself going redder and redder.
P- wow, you look hot. Well I mean you are hot but your looking flushed aswell. Erm fancy getting out of here?
L- Yes sure.
He put his arm out and I linked him. I turned My head to see Hannah, Sian, Cass and all the other girls giving me a thumbs up and I gave them one back. He was fit and he seemed like a gentleman. Full package.
We spent the whole night laughing and chatting. I felt like I'd known him forever. I certainly felt like I knew him better than Nicky and I've only just met him. Love at first sight? No that's not real. Is it?
------ 3 months later------
Phil and I have been Dating for 3 months now. We are getting serious. It's meet the parents day today. We can relate to each other, I only have my dad, my mum died when I was 5 and Phil only has his mum; his dad ran out when he was 3 weeks. He never knew him and didn't want to. Neither would I really. I rang Phil.
L- hey. U all set?
P- Yep were on our way to the restaurant what about youse?
L- Yep we are about 5 minutes away. I'll see you soon.
P- ok bye love you
L- love you.
We hung up.
My dad gave me a funny look:
L- what?
D- you've known the guys for 3 minutes and your saying love you?
L- 3 months actually. And Yes I told you that we are serious.
D- well I want a word with this fella.
L- Dennis Walker behave yourself.
D- that's dad to you.
L- play nice.
D- I always do.
I looked at him and laughed. We pulled up outside and we walked in and got a table. We sat down when Phil and his Mum walked in.
L- Phil!
I said hugging him.
P- this is my mum Jill Hunter.
L- miss Hunter it's so nice to meet you! This is my dad-
J- Dennis? Dennis walker?
L- oh you've met?
My dad stood up and looked shocked but he was trying to hide it.
D- erm yes! We have. In our teenage years haha. Jill nice to see you again! It's been so long!
They hugged awkwardly. Phil and I shared an confused look. And we sat down. This was an unexpected meet.
J- excuse me, nature calls.
Jill stood up and went to the toilets.
We sat in silence for a moment.
D- ah. I think a visit to the bar is in order, can't have us all without drinks now can we?
P- I'll help you.
D- no need. I'll be ok. Thanks anyway.
Dad walked around the corner to the bar.

Dennis' pov...
Jill? Jill Hunter! There's a name a never thought I'd say again, wanted to- but never thought I would. Jill got up to use the toilets, I have to speak to her on my own. This was my chance. I made the excuse that I was going to the bar and went towards the ladies toilets. I waited outside for her to come out.
D- Jill?
J- Dennis. What are you doing here?
D- I needed to speak to you. Alone.
J- what's there to speak about? We dated when we were 15. Worlds away, we both have families of our own now.
D- I never stopped having feelings for you though.
J- really? It didn't seem like you had feelings for me when you began to date Kerry.
D- we couldn't be together, our parents forbid it. It didn't stop me having feelings for you though.
She looked down. Tears came down her face.
J- who would have thought it hey? Spilt up over 35 years ago and look were we have ended up now. Our children dating each other! Speaking of which they will be wondering where we are.
She began to walk off, I stopped her.
D- you can't go back crying.
J- I haven't been. I'm fine.
D- it might have been over 35 years but I can still tell when your lying.
