Why can't I be happy?!
Racheal's pov...
I'd had too much of the hospital for one day. I head home. A nice night with my boyfriend was what I needed.
I got in and closed the door behind me. I put my back on the door and took a heavy sigh. Dana came into the corridor.
D- hey baby.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head in my shoulder. He seemed to sigh to.
I went to let go but he still stayed hugging me.
R- what's up?
D- nothing, I'm just glad your back. I want to make tonight perfect.
I laughed
R- come on then.
We went into the living room and I sat on the couch and Dana went over to the cabinet. He pulled out a film and put it behind his back.
D-guess what film I rented?
A cheeky grin gave it all away.
R- you didn't!
I laughed and smiled.
D- I did! Rise of the guardians!
I jumped up with a squeal.
R- Thankyou!
D- come on let's watch it.
We put the film in and started to watch it. Dana seemed abit off, maybe he just had stuff on his mind but so did I. Maybe I was just imagining stuff.
The film finished and we decided to play a game.
D- why don't we play what would you do?
R- ok. Can I go first.
D- sure.
R- what would you do if I had slept with someone else while we were together?
I laughed to make it seem light hearted. But I really did want to know. I still haven't to him about Gabe.
D- ooh that's a tough one. Well it depends on the circumstances and who it was with.
R- humm say it was a ex and we were drunk?
D- oh Exs are a defiant no go. But if you'd told me and felt bad about it then I guess we could work through it.
I looked down. Shit.
D- That was a heavy one to start with.
We both laughed, clearly both were fake but we didn't say anything to each other .
D- what would you do if I had to go back to America.
I laughed but then I looked at him he was serious.
R- nothing because you don't. Do you?
He didn't reply he just looked down and played with his fingers.
R- dana? Dana answer me?!
D- I'm sorry Rachael.
My heart tore in two.
R- this is some really bad joke I'll kick your ass for later. Right?
D- I wish it was.
R- why?
D- we have had loads of complaints because the tour was cancelled so suddenly. Our recording company have threatened to sue us and cancel our contract if we don't star up again.
R- w--when?
He got up and walked into the kitchen, acting like he never heard me.
R- Dana! WHEN?!
I grabbed his arm and turned him to face me.
D- tomorrow.
R- what? When did you find this out!
D- a-- a couple of days ago.
R- and you only care to tell me now? When you are leaving tomorrow?!
D- look- look I-- I
R- you know what save it Dana, I don't wanna hear any of your lies. You can go stay in a hotel and then swan back of to America with your precious band.
D- Rachael--
R- and for the record I did sleep with someone else Gabe!
D- what?!
R- I'm going out! By the time I'm back I want you out!
I ran out of the house slamming the door and went down the street. My friend Dami lived around the corner, I ran to hers. I got to the door but I couldn't face knocking. I fell to the floor crying. Why can't I be happy?!

Dana's pov...
She what? With who? I can't believe it! This must have been when we broke up. I can't believe her. It didn't stop my feelings for her though. I love her, I always will. But I guess it's over. For good this time. I packed a bag and got out i booked a taxi to the airport hotel.
Why can't I be happy?!
