The first half of the performance was done and Ladybug was just about the get onto the silks, the finale of her part. She jumped onto the silks and did her final move, she got into position and did her final drop and luckily, she landed perfectly. The people around her clapped and cheered as Adrien joined her on stage for the Q&A.
"Okay, guys! Get ready to ask questions! So who's up first?" Adrien shouted into the audience while Ladybug waved back at the waving fans in the crowd.
Alya stood up first, "Are you two dating?" was the first question she asked.
Both Ladybug and Adrien went red in the cheeks and Ladybug shouted back, "No we aren't dating, any other questions?"
Alya scribbled something down on a small notepad and asked another question, "How old are you?"
Ladybug looked at Adrien for confirmation on whether she could answer or not, Adrien gave her a small nod. "I am 18 years old, but I can't say anything too much more personal."
Alya scribbled a few more things down on her notepad, "Thank you Ladybug!"
A few more questions went by, "Okay guys, a few more questions, who's next?"
Luka stood up in the crowd and Ladybug became visibly uncomfortable, "Does anyone know your identity?"
Ladybug swallowed and put on a fake smile, "No, I'm not allowed to tell anyone my identity, I even have to tell my friends I work somewhere else so they don't figure it out."
Luka sat down and another girl from across the room stood up in his place, "Does that mean your family don't even know about it?"
Ladybugs smile dropped and tears filled her eyes, "Um, I don't have a family. They all passed away a few months ago." Ladybug stood still while tears ran down her cheeks.
"The Q&A is over guys and goodnight!" Adrien shouted.
The lights went down and Adrien ran over to a crying Ladybug. Hugging her felt all too familiar but he kept hugging her either way. A flash came from the audience and Adrien knew people were taking photos but he didn't care. He guided the girl off the stage and to her dressing room. Together they sat down on the sofa that was in her dressing room and Adrien turned to face her.
"I'm sorry Adrien," Ladybug muttered, "It's just I miss them so much. I have to lie to my friends every day about this job as well and then I live alone and everything. It's all getting a bit much. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be saying all this, I'm probably being really annoying," Ladybug sniffed.
Adrien took her hand and looked into her eyes, "It seems really hard to deal with and I would find it hard to lie that much too. To get your mind off of it go to that Miraculous club tonight, I might be there but you'll have to figure out which disguise I'm in," Adrien said with a wink at the end which made Ladybug giggle.
"Okay, now go! I have to get home and re-fresh before I go to that club!" Ladybug said, jokily pushing Adrien towards the door.
"See you later Ladybug."
Marinette changed into a black mini dress paired with a black, thigh-high boot that added four inches to her height. She wore a red cardigan that reached an inch below her dress with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Her hair was pulled into two pigtails with red ribbons used as hair bands. She put on her Ladybug mask and let her fringe fall in front of her forehead.
She made her way to the miraculous club which was only a few minutes down the road. She went inside and saw all types of people but her eyes stopped on her best friends, Nino and Alya. She could recognise her own designs a mile away. She was about to go over when she remembered she was Ladybug here, not Marinette, so she looked around for someone new to talk to.
Her eyes stopped on a boy stood in all black near the bar. He had a black button-up shirt with black ripped jeans. His scruffy blonde hair had black cat ears pinned to it. A chain necklace with a padlock keeping it together hung around his neck, sitting below his collar and coming together in the centre of his chest, just below his collarbones. He had beautiful emerald-coloured eyes and peach lips. He had a black mask that kept his identity a secret like the poster said people should do.
"Hey kitty," Ladybug said confidently when she joined the mysterious boy at the bar.
The mysterious boy, also known as Adrien faced Ladybug when she walked over, "Hey bugaboo, nice to meet you. I'm Chat Noir, I run this place"
"I must say, this place is pretty impressive and cute nickname, kitty," Ladybug responded undoing one extra button from his shirt, she was being the flirty, confident 18-year-old she truly was.
"Wanna dance bugaboo?" Chat smirked while offering his hand.
Ladybug took his hand and he brought her onto the floor. He pulled her close and put one hand on her waist and held her hand with the other. Ladybug giggled and they started to dance like professionals across the floor.
"Wow, you're a really good dancer Chaton," Ladybug said while putting her arms around Chat's neck and Chat grabbed onto her waist and pulled her closer.
"I did lessons and you're not that bad either, pretty eyes," Chat said while winking and dipping her, "You should never underestimate me, bugaboo, I'm the cat's meow."
Ladybug giggled slightly and rolled her eyes at his cat pun. Suddenly he pulled her back up from the dip and they were only millimetres apart.
