Chapter Nineteen: Family Bond

Zero got up, doing his best to hide the cum, and looked at his daughter. Gadget rubbed the back of his head nervously, "Yeahhhh...she calls me mommy..." he spoke in embarrassment.

"Aww, well isn't that adorable" Zero teased and pinched Gadgets cheek.

While Zero was busy embarrassing Gadget, Aurora seen some sticky yet clear fluid on the bed, she put some on her finger and was about to eat it when Zero stopped her just in time. "Woah! You do not want to eat that, sweetie" he sighed in relief as he gently pulled her finger away from her mouth.

Gadget blushed harshly, "Oh my...let's get you some proper food" he got off the bed, the cum on his fur was wiped off by Zero as he went to clean the bed. Gadget facepalmed, "She could have ate my sperm!" he groaned and covered his face in shame. Zero chuckled, "I know, lucky I caught her" he smiled and pulled Gadget into a loving hug. 

"Ughhhh..." Gadget groaned into Zero's chest.

Zero rubbed Gadget's back, "Go get a shower, I'll watch over Aurora" he kissed his forehead and smiled, pulling away from the hug.

"Okay then" Gadget nodded and left to take a hot shower, he made sure to scrub down his fur from the stench of sweaty sex and cum.

Zero watched over Aurora as he washed the dishes, he hummed a soft lullaby which caught the attention of his daughter.

"Daddy? What is da song?" She tried to speak a sentence, she was still learning english and how to speak but she tried her best to make sense.

"Hm? Oh, the lullaby" Zero turned around and dried his hands. "It's a lullaby that my mother used to sing when I needed her most, she sang it to me to calm me down and to sleep" he explained and picked up his daughter.

"Of course" Zero nodded and brought her over to the living room, where he sat down with her on his lap, she rested against his chest and listened with open ears.

Zero smiled as Aurora fell asleep listening to the soft and entrancing lullaby.

Little did Zero know, Gadget heard the whole song and was standing in the living room doorway.

"Wow..." Gadget smiled, startling Zero.

"Ah! Gadget!" Zero whisper-shouted at the wolf to not wake up their daughter.

"That was beautiful.." Gadget kissed Zero's forehead and nuzzled him, "I've never heard you sing before" he sat beside him. "But...I'd like to hear you sing again another time" he placed his head on Zero's shoulder.

"I'll sing for you anytime, love" Zero smiled and cuddled with his family as they all fell asleep.

Everyone now knows of Infinite and his defeat when he fell in love, it was a story spread all across the world. A tale of two lovers separated but reunited by love and passion. The tale was spread across generations, of a great evil, who's magic scarred the land, it was he who fell in love with a scared victim and swore to never let harm see his way. He protected his lover till death do them part, and with each day he would wake with his family by his side; a happy Mobian, he became.

When the war ended, the Resistance continued their work with helping people rebuild their cities, and with Eggman never seen again, it seemed like the world got a whole lot brighter.

Of course, Sonic and his team kept an eye for an Eggman style attack but one never came for months on end, they assumed Eggman had finally retired or given up at this point.

As for our lovely couple, Zero and Gadget worked together to homeschool their daughter, and as she grew she learned more and more about the world she grew up in and eventually, how Zero came to be when she noticed his large scar over his eye. Yes, there was some hiccups but every relationship has its ups and downs, the couple were strong enough to not let silly arguments get in the way of their love for eachother. 

Eventually, Zero proposed to Gadget and they got married soon after. They finally got a real home, above ground, and lived there for the rest of their lives.

When Aurora got into her early adulthood, she moved out and found her own love to live and spend her life with, she enrolled into university and got the degrees she wanted.

Zero and Gadget spent the rest of their days by eachother's side, because they both knew that they couldn't live if the other was gone.
