unfiltered ~ Zane

Heath, Zane, Mariah and Matt were all back to filming Unfiltered. I was meant to tag along with them but I didn't feel too good. I mean I felt fine, I'd don't feel sick I just don't look good in my body. I hate my body and every other flaw I have. Everyone keeps saying 'I'm pretty' or insecure gorgeous', but I just don't feel it at all. I used to be able to wear shorts with a crop top but now I just wear them with a really baggy shirt over the top just to hide my body.

"Hey Y/N, you coming swimming with Jeff & I?"

"Thanks, but I think I'm going to catch up on some work and read a bit"

"Ok. If you change your mind, you know where to find us"

"Thanks, Todd"

I grabbed an apple and headed back to mine and Zane's room and started answering some emails and phone calls.

...

It's been 2 hours since I've been working and it's stressful and it doesn't help that it's so hot out today so I had to change from my thin baggy jumper to my baggy white shirt. Zane and Matt were expected home at any time so I finished my work for the day and went downstairs with my book and sat under the tree in the shade. 

"Y/N!"

"Outside!"

I saw Zane walk out the door and towards the tree I was under. He sat next to me and pecked my lips before telling me about the new podcast. 

"It was probably the funniest podcast ever"

"Good to hear. I'm glad you guys are getting back into to"

"Yeah. You should've been there"

"I like waiting for it"

It went silent for a while before Zane spoke up.

"I'm worried about you"

"Why?"

"I've noticed you never really swim with anyone, you hardly eat and you've been covering yourself up lately. You've never really covered up unless you're really cold and I know you're not cold"

"I just feel cooler in a baggy shirt"

"You don't think I've noticed the comments people have left for you. You don't need to cover yourself up. You don't need to listen to those negative comments. You're beautiful, hot, sexy, gorgeous and deserve to proudly show off your body"

"It's hard though. Seeing those comments every day, it's get in your head and you can't help but think that those comments are true. I guess I let it get to me a bit too much"

"Promise me you won't read the negative comments"

"I promise"

"Follow me"

"Where are we going?"

"I'm going to show you how much of a beautiful woman you are"

I was a bit confused as to what he meant but soon realized as he leads me to the bedroom and showed me how beautiful I am.

"I love you and I don't want you to feel like you can't talk to me at anytime"

"Ok"

Later that afternoon I put my bikini on and went swimming with the boys. Self-love is a tough thing. Sometimes you love yourself and sometimes you don't but as long as you got a good support system around you, you can get through it and grow to love anything and everything about you.
