Autumn Season ~ Todd

The leaves fell of the tree as I sat around the fire pit in my backyard. The sun was just setting as a gentle breeze blew over my face. Autumn, the season where it starts to get cold which is perfect opportunity to wear my fluffy socks and my thick sweaters. I had a blanket around me as I was waiting for Todd to come back from making hot chocolate. He had set up this cute little outdoor cinema for everyone to enjoy. We had a few little tents pitched so if someone fell asleep they can stay there. Todd and I were taking the makeshift sofa bed we had made at the back of the garden so we get the best view of the film. It was surprisingly comfortable.

"One hot chocolate for Mrs Smith"

"Thanks Mr Smith"

Todd and I have been married for 5 months and it's going so well. We went on our honeymoon to Paris. Romantic right? We did a lot of sightseeing and other stuff 😉 it was a good vacation and I didn't really want to leave it.

"Do you think everyone will like the surprise at the end of movie?"

"I'm sure they will. They have to"

"Ok"

~ 2 hours later ~

The credits were rolling for the movie and Todd took this as an opportunity to connect his phone to the projector and played the video we had made over the last 3 months. Our faces weren't include in the video so everyone was really confused; until the last clip came up. Both of our voices could be heard as we announced the good news.

"WE'RE PREGNANT!"

The video ended we Todd and I holding the scan photo from last week as everyone turned to look at us. It was silent for a bit before Natalie broke it by cheering and giving us a hug.

"This is amazing. A mini Todd or Y/N running around. I can't wait to babysit"

"Thank you. We tried to keep secret for as long as possible but tonight seemed to be right time to tell you all"

We carried the night on by talking about clothes, names to call the baby or if it was a girl or boy. It felt good to let it out. I don't have to hide my bump around them anymore. Todd and I met each other's eyes and smiled at one another. Time for a new chapter in life.

P.s don't think this fitted well with autumn series but the idea popped in my head so I wanted to write. Remember the next imagine will be the last imagine:( Im taking my time to write it though so I can try and publish it when Sep 30 hits.
