Autumn Season ~ Scotty

The leaves fell down from tree as I watched from my bedroom window. I haven't left my room in a week, due to having the flu. People would visit me now and then but I was waiting for Scott to come and see me as he's the only person who hasn't yet. Sadness overtook me as I saw everyone entering my house, everyone except Scott. Todd was the first one to enter my room.

"You're meant to be wrapped up?"

"I felt too hot with all those blankets on me. Still no word from him?"

"I'm sorry y/n"

"It's fine. I should be used to it by now. It's been what, 2 weeks since we last spoke"

"He'll come around soon"

"Doubt it"

"Wanna come downstairs. Natalie brought your favourite soup and we thought we could all watch a film together"

"Ok"

"Don't forget your bring a blanket"

"I won't. Let me freshen up and I'll be down"

I made it halfway through the movie before falling asleep again. Having the flu really does drain the energy out of you. I fell asleep cuddled into Jeff with Nerf on my lap. It's the first time I've felt comfortable to fall asleep without having to worry about throwing up or sneezing every 5 minutes. I felt Jeff place a kiss on my forehead before lifting me up and carrying me to my bed.

"Sleep right little pumpkin"

I fell deeper into my pillows as another blanket was placed over the top of me.

It was 3am when I woke up the next morning to feel a body presence next to me. The person was shirtless and I instantly recognised the tattoos covering his chest.

"Scotty?"

"I'm here now. I didn't mean to stay away like that. It was wrong and selfish of me. What kind of boyfriend doesn't come help their sick girlfriend"

"Scotty, just shut up and hug me. I don't care anymore how long you were away, what matters is that you're here now and I've missed that"

"I missed you so much. Now go back to sleep so you can get better quicker"

"Love you"
