nerf gun war ~ David

What started out as a nice relaxing day turned into a full blown nerf gun war, again. I like them but I just want one relaxing day brocade I'm not feeling too great. I sat on the cloud couch whilst everyone ran around finding a hiding spot. I would join in but if so the slightest movement I'll throw up. Today wasn't a good day.

"Y/n, come join in" ~ David

"I'll stay put I'm not feeling too great"

"Come on it will be fun"

"Honestly I'm fine. Maybe later"

That answer didn't settle well with him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me off the couch.

"David, please I don't feel well"

"Please just one round"

"No David"

"You're getting boring"

"I'm sorry that I don't want to play because I'll throw. Maybe if you actually paid attention you'll care enough"

Everyone in the house went quiet as I walked into our bedroom and went into the bathroom and threw up. I flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth before sitting on the edge of the bathtub. A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts as David's head poked around the door.

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah"

He knelt in front of me and rested his hands upon my knees.

"I'm sorry for not paying attention to you. I should've listened about you being sick. I'm sorry"

"It's ok. I shouldn't of snapped at you. You just wanted to have fun and I was being a party pooper"

"You're allowed to be sick and not want to join in at times"

"I know but sometimes I feel bad for not joining in with you guys"

"Is there any reason why you're feeling sick"

"Well, can you pass over my black box please"

"Ok"

He handed me the box over the counter top.

"Ok you can open it up"

"I thought you wanted it"

"Just open it"

I watched as he slid the lid off the top and he eyes widened.

"Really?"

"Yep"

"We're having a baby?"

"Yeah"

"This is amazing and makes great vlog content"

"Not yet. I want to wait until I'm further along"

"How far?"

"12 weeks"

He spun me around and then ran out of the room screaming to everyone about how he's going to be a dad. Everyone congratulated us and then they continued the nerf gun war whilst I picked up the bullets that fell to the floor ready for David to reload. I smiled at everyone and when I felt bette ro joined in eventually.
