coffee talk ~ Heath

I woke up later than usual and found the other side of the bed empty. Last night was the worst. I woke up in the middle of the night to a really bad headache and overall just couldn't sleep. I haven't been able to sleep since I brought up with my boyfriend of 5 years.

That's when I called Heath and Mariah over, I felt really bad but they said they didn't mind. They managed to get me back to sleep just by holding me. Heath has always been a really good friend of mine and I admired the way he spoke about Mariah. Mariah was like a sister to me and I loved that I had two good friends to support me in times like this. Soon my bedroom door opened and in walked Heath and Mariah with coffee in their hands.

"It's coffee talk baby!"

I laughed at the iconic line that was used for the podcast. Mariah handed me my mug as the sat either side of me on the bed.

"How are you feeling today?"

"Still hurting, but getting there. Thanks again for coming over so late last night"

"It's no problem. How about Heath and I leave you to get dressed and we'll meet you in the kitchen for breakfast"

"Sounds good. Thanks again"

They gave me a hug and left me to finish my coffee and get dressed. It's been 4 days since the break-up and I haven't really gotten dressed up because what's the point. I sat down at my makeup table and started applying some mascara and that was about it before I walked into my closet and got out some silk trousers and a crop top since it was hot today. I paired the outfit with some trainers before spraying some perfume and brushing my teeth.

"You sure you guys didn't mind coming over last night?"

"It was no problem, Mariah insisted we visit you anyways to make sure you were ok"

"As long as I've got my friends, I'm fucking fantastic"

"That's more like it"

"Yeah. I'm taking it step by step to get better at moving on"

"Sounds good. Another coffee?"

"What's coffee talk without any coffee"

"True. Mariah do you want another coffee?

"Iced please"

"You got any ice?"

"I've got iced coffee cubes. I'll get them"

I got the coffee cubes out and put them into a glass ready for when Heath poured the coffee over them.

"We have some really good coffee talks"

"We do don't we. Maybe you should be a guest on the podcast one day"

"That would be awesome!"

"What would be awesome?"

"Y/N being a guest on the podcast one day"

"That would be amazing. I can show you the soundboard that I use"

"OMG yes!"

The rest of the day we played some games and went out for lunch and then hung out with everyone in the squad. Heartbreak? Don't even know that word.
