"What's your name?" I scowled at him. He had kept me up last night with questions, all of which I had refused to answer.

"Tanya,"

"My name is Loki, the Rightful King of Jotunnheim," He was a Frost Giant. No wonder he didn't look like any of his family, who all had blond hair and blue eyes.

"Lo--ah. The man who tried to conquer Earth,"

"I was simply claiming my birthright,"

"And that birthright is?"

"I was born to be a king,"

"And yet, you're a simple prince,"

"I went to rule them as a benevolent god,"

"You were a tyrant," I spat, thinking of Malekith and his tyranny.

"They were more stubborn than I thought,"

"I heard the guards talking about it. You destroyed a building, killed a man, and brought destruction to one of the biggest cities on the continent. You are the definition of a tyrant," I sneered.

"Liar!" He snarled.

"Really? The God of Lies doesn't want to hear the truth, so he dismisses it as fantasy," I rolled my eyes.

"You don't have any room to talk, Half-Breed!" My head snapped up.

"What did you just call me?"

"You're a Half-Breed. A disgusting result of a relationship between an Asgardian and a mortal,"

I stared at the floor. I had no idea who my parents were, but now I know one of them was Asgardian. I was frozen in shock, but I eventually found my voice.

"How do you know?"

"I sensed it the moment you stepped into the throne room. It rolled off you in waves,"

"Do you know which parent was Asgardian?" I asked, suddenly eager and acting friendlier.

"You're not insulted?" He asked, sounding shocked.

"No! Why would I be? I know something about my parents now...Thank you, by the way, for telling me,"

I think I might've broken him because his silver tongue suddenly turned to lead.

a/n I saw the clip for the Loki show, and I am beyond excited to see where the series is going.
