They put me in some sort of glass container. Clearly, they thought I was dangerous, so they locked me up. That's smart. Good strategy. Let's just hope they stick me far enough underground to where I can't hurt anyone again.

I was loaded onto a truck with no light, four guards in front with weapons out and covered in tactical gear. The truck bounced and jolted,  but the bindings around my wrists and ankles kept me from moving.

My mind was completely shut down. No thoughts. No emotions. Just a shell, ready to do as they pleased.

The perfect soldier.

I could see Buck in his own container, Steve, Sam, and the royal climbing out of another truck. Steve looked guiltily over at the two of us.

He blamed himself for our predicament. He shouldn't. I deserve this. This, and so much worse for the pain I have caused.

A thick steel door slid closed as the three followed a group of people into the main building. I was moved into a small empty room, with a table in front of me. The door clicked open, a  brunette woman in a wheelchair rolling in and up to the table.

"Hello, Miss Boston. I've been sent by the United Nations to evaluate you. Do you mind if I sit?"  I stared at her, as she was already sitting.

"Tough crowd. How unfortunate. My name is Dr. Rowena Darness, though you can call me Rue if it pleases you. I am not here to judge you, I just want to ask a few questions. Do you know where you are, Miss Boston?" I stayed silent, just staring at her. "I can't help you if you don't talk. That's how this works, Miss Boston,"

"My name is Tanya," I snapped.

"She does talk! How marvellous. So, Tanya, you're not from Earth, are you? Or, should I call you Joanne Thatcher?" I tensed. "Oh, you recognize that name. You know, it's quite funny. You see, Joanne Thatcher died last year, while she was in Sokovia. But, all the picture of her match your face exactly. You want to explain how that is?"

"No," I croaked.

"We're doing this the hard way. Good to know," she sat back in her chair, evaluating me. "Why did you help Mr. Barnes?"

"I don't believe it's illegal to help people,"

"It is when they're an infamous assassin with more than two dozen kills to their name,"

"That's quite a low number,"

"Yes, it is. You see, Tanya, I'm pretty good at reading people. And what I've gathered is that you're an assassin. Or, you used to be. Wanna tell me who you were working for?"

"You wouldn't know them,"

"Try me,"

"Malekith, but it was unwilling,"

"You were right. I don't know who that is. Care to tell me?"

"He's the ruler of the Dark Elves. He hails from Harudheen,"

"How high are you?"

"I'm about as low as you can get,"

"Oh, I see I have a comedian on my hands. Where is this Harudheen?"

"It's one of the Nine Realms,"

"So you're Asgardian,"

"Aesir. And yes, on my mother's side,"

"How old are you?"

"Seventeen,"

"Then why are you running around helping criminals with two Avengers and a king?"

"I graduated last year,"

"How long were you an assassin?"

"I never stopped being one,"

"How many people have you killed?"

"I lost track. In the hundreds,"

"How did you get here?"

"I was sent here,"

"Why?"

"Don't know,"

"Where are you from?"

"Don't know,"

"What are you parents names?"

"Elizabeth Boston and some deadbeat,"

"No dad? Shame,"

"That's not very nice,"

"Well, unluckily for the both of us, I'm not a very nice person,"

Alarms started blaring, someone rushing in and wheeling Rue out. Someone came on over the intercoms, saying something I didn't understand. I could hear fighting in the corridor, but no one ever came in.

I fought against my restraints, eventually breaking them off before slamming shoulder first into the glass panel in front. It fell to the ground, shattering. I made for the door, ripping it open and looking around. I ran for the exit, everyone too preoccupied with Barnes to deal with me.

I slammed into someone, pulling back to see Sam looking alarmed.

"Barnes got triggered. Cap's going after him. We need to get out of here,"

a/n So, this chapter is basically a very long cameo from Rue, who is the protag of my Cyanide series.
