I sighed, crossing my eyes as I scanned for potential threats. My two companions were inside, waiting for someone who had intel on our ghost.

A blonde woman approached, and we locked eyes. I gave the slightest nod to signal they were inside, and she entered the cafe. A few minutes later, the two emerged, pulling their caps a little lower on their faces.

"Do you have a suit?" Steve, as I learned his name was, asked.

"In my apartment," I said.

"Then let's go grab it,"

-

I sighed, reaching under my bed and pulling out a box, taking the lid off. "That doesn't look like much," Sam observed.

"Trust me, there's more," I said, bundling the clothes up and going into the bathroom. I pulled on the thick black pants, then the dark green top. I slid my head through the head hole of my leather breastplate, securing it to my arm and sides, before strapping my dagger and knife holster to my thigh, then my ankle holster. I strapped on my arm guard and shin guards, and slid on my combat boots, lacing them up tightly. I pulled on my long black leather jacket, and put my throwing knife sleeve on my belt before putting it on.

I secured my quiver, bow sling, and sheaths, making sure they wouldn't move when I ran. My cowl bunched up around my front, folds, and creases covering the cloth. I went back into the main room of my studio apartment, reaching back under my bed and pulling out a box.

"What's in there?" Sam asked as I took the lid off.

I spread the weapons out, sheathing my dual blades on my back, and attaching my bow to its sling. My arrows slid into the quiver, all in a uniform pattern. My throwing knives went into their sleeves, my knife and dagger into their dual holster, and another dagger in the ankle holster.

"Can we go now?"
