Chapter 1 ~ Everything is Gonna Be Fine

Laura's Pov

I woke up to someone banging on my door. I checked the time. 2:46 am. Who the hell is up right now. I got out of bed and made my way downstairs. I looked through the peephole and saw Calum standing there and he looked upset. I opened the door and he wouldn't look me in the eye. He kept his eyes looking down at the floor.

"Cal? Babe? What are you doing here? What's wrong?" He just shook his head.

I put my fingers under his chin and lifted his head up. His cheeks were tear stained.

"Cal." He wrapped his arms around me and I heard him sniffling. I rubbed his back and said, "Babe? What happened? Talk to me. Please."

"Can I stay here?" "Babe. What's going on?"

He pulled out of the hug and said, "I just need you right now." "Cal. Tell me what's going on."

"My parents are getting a divorce." I kissed his cheek and said, "Aw babe. It'll be okay. Of course you can stay here. Cmon. Do you want something to eat?"

"Ice cream?" "Alright. C'mon."

We went in the kitchen and I handed him the tub of ice cream and a spoon. I got a water bottle out of the fridge.

"Let's go upstairs." "Oh shit. I woke you up didn't I?"

"Yeah. But it's okay. You needed me. I'm your girlfriend and I'm here for you whenever you need me."

I stood on my toes and pecked his lips. I grabbed his hand and took him up to my room. I turned on my TV and put on Jersey Shore. I snuggled into Cal and said, "I love you babe."

"I love you too. Thank you."

He kissed the top of my head and I slowly felt my eyelids get heavy.

I woke up the next morning to soft snores next to me. He finished the whole tub of ice cream. Damn. Now I gotta buy a new one. He had chocolate all over his face. I wiped it off, careful not to wake him up. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I put my hair in a braid and went downstairs. I had a text from Luke.

Good morning Asian lover. Where the fuck is your boyfriend?

Sleeping. Do Yall have rehearsal today?

From: Penguin😈

Yeah. It starts in ten minutes. Wake him up.

To: Penguin😈

No. I can't. He had a rough night.

We didn't do anything. He's just going through some stuff. Can yall start without him?

Then I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I said, "Hey babe. Go get ready." He shook his head.

"You have rehearsal." He groaned and went upstairs.

Okay. He's up. He's getting ready now. Do I have to come too?

Yes we need an audience.
