Chapter 3 ~ Anniversary

Laura's Pov

I woke up the next morning and Cal wasn't next to me. I went downstairs and saw him in the kitchen cooking breakfast. I said, "Good morning babe. Happy anniversary." "Happy anniversary gorgeous." My phone vibrated and I saw I had a text from Nash.

From: Nashty😘😘

See you tonight. Love you big sis. Can't wait to see you.💖

To: Nashty😘😘

Love you too little bro. Can just you and Hayes pick me up. I don't really wanna see dad yet.

From: Nashty😘😘

Of course. I understand where you're coming from.

Cal said, "Who ya texting?" "Nash."

"Oh he's talking about who's picking you up tonight?" I nodded.

He handed me a plate of waffles and bacon and said, "Here you go baby girl." I"Thank you babe."

I sat down at the table and started eating it. Cal sat down next to me and said, "How is it?"

"It's delicious babe." "Good. When you get finished, go get ready. We are going to have to do everything earlier than we would since you have a flight at seven." I nodded.

I finished my breakfast and put my dishes in the sink. I said, "Thank you babe." I kissed him and went upstairs to get ready. I brushed my teeth and got in the shower and washed my hair and body. I shaved and got out of the shower. I put on shorts and a tank top so I could get ready.

I did my makeup and then I dried my hair. I curled it and put hair spray and dry shampoo in it. I went in my room and put on my hot pink dress and nude ankle boots. I put on deodorant and my Victoria Secret perfume. I grabbed my black clutch and put my phone and lipstick in there. My wallet and all my other essentials were already in there. I decided to wait to give Cal his present until we got back home.

I went down stairs and I saw Cal all dressed up in his little suit.

"You look so handsome babe." I straightened his tie and he said, "You look flawless."

"Thank you." "You ready?"

I nodded. We decided to go out to lunch instead of dinner. But he won't tell me where we are going. We drove for about thirty minutes and finally arrived at the park where we first met. Cal said, "We are going to do lunch a little later. I have something else planned before."

"I have the best boyfriend ever." "Of course you do."

We got out of the car and I saw the guys were there.

"What exactly is this plan of yours?" "A little concert before lunch."

"Aw." "Now you just sit and watch."

They performed for me and about an hour later Cal said, "Now it's time for lunch." Ash said, "Have fun you two. No baby making before the flight tonight."

I threw a stick at him. He said, "Kidding." I hugged them all and told them thank you. Me and Cal left and he took me to Maggiano's.

"Aw Cal. You know this is my fave." "Of course I know that."

He intertwined his hand with mine and we went inside. "Reservation for Hood."

The lady said, "Right this way." She walked us over to our table and handed us two menus. "Enjoy your meal."

Then she walked away. Calum said, "You look amazing babe." "You look so handsome. You clean up very nicely. The presentation just gets better every year, doesn't it?"
