Laura's Pov

Well, today's the day. I'm marrying Calum. I can't believe after all of these years we're officially getting married. I feel like it was just yesterday that I met Cal.

To say I'm nervous about the wedding is an understatement. I know everything will be fine. But I just have this image of my perfect wedding in my head and I need everything to go off without a hitch.

Mali, Lauren, Sky, and I are all currently getting our hair and makeup done by Lou. She's such a sweetie and offered to help us with getting ready for the wedding.

I'm sure y'all are wondering who will be giving me away. Well, I ended up deciding that both Johnnie and Chad would give me away.

Lou did my hair and makeup first, so now I'm just waiting for the girls to be ready. After a few minutes, my mom came in and said, "Laura. You have some visitors."

She opened the door and my brothers all came in the room, immediately attacking me with a hug. Will said, "I can't believe you're really getting married."

"I've been dating Cal for almost eight years, Will, it was bound to happen sooner or later." "I know. But it feels like just yesterday it was just the two of us, before these two idiots showed up."

"We're both growing up. You're married with a beautiful daughter and a beautiful wife, and I'm gonna be married to a handsome man." "And give me beautiful nieces and nephews right?"

"Maybe someday. We'll have to see what happens." Mom said, "Alright boys. Let's let Laura finish getting ready. You can baby her after the wedding."

"They shouldn't baby me considering I'm not the baby of the family." "Think what you want baby girl. While they are all younger than you, they will always baby you."

Then she walked out with the boys. Not even a minute later, Ash came into the room and said, "Laura. Your future husband is being a baby."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Be nice to him Ash. It's stressful on your wedding day." Mali said, "I'll go talk to him. If anyone can calm my idiot brother down, it's me." Then she walked out of the room.

Ash said, "So how's the bride-to-be feeling?" "I mean. I'm nervous. But I know it's gonna be perfect."

"It is gonna be perfect. You planned everything and it's just a small family thing." "I know. How bad off is Cal right now?"

"I mean. He could be worse. He's not worried you're gonna stand him up or whatever, he's just worried he's gonna say something dumb. He really wants your dad to like him and he thinks if he says the wrong thing your dad will hate him even more." "Chad is starting to warm up to him. It's gonna take time. But he'll come around one day."

"Wow. That's a big step for you to feel that way." "I know. But I really think that Chad has turned over a new leaf."

"You still aren't comfortable calling him dad, are you?" "No. I haven't gotten to that level with him yet."

"That's understandable. I mean. He hasn't really been there for you since you and Cal started dating. It's a big enough step for you to let him walk you down the aisle." "I just want everyone to be happy. I know this is a big step for me, but I was such a daddy's girl when I was younger. I really do want to rebuild our relationship."

"You do whatever feels right for you. But as for right now, you need to get your ass ready to walk down the aisle and marry the love of your life." "Wow. From sweet to strict in a matter of seconds."

"Gotta keep everything on schedule." "And that's why you're my best friend."

He stood up and held his hand out to me. "You ready to do this?" I grabbed his hand and said, "Ready as I'll ever be."

We walked out of the room with the girls following behind us and he kissed the top of my head before getting in his position. Cal was already up at the altar and I really just wanted to sneak a peek at him.

Mali pulled me back and said, "I don't think so little missy." "What? Why can't I just sneak a peek?"

"Because you and I both know he is waiting for you to do just that so he can also take a sneak peek. You are gonna make your big entrance and that is the only way he will see you." "Fine. You're no fun."

Mikey said, "C'mon Laura. You know the rules." "Yeah? Well I don't like them."

"Don't care. You'll see him in a few minutes. Now go with Chad and Johnnie and get ready for this." "Fine Mr.Sassy Pants."

I walked over to Chad and Johnnie and of course they both had tears in their eyes. I said, "Oh gosh. You guys are not already crying." Johnnie said, "What? No. Of course not. We're men. We don't cry."

"Johnnie. Y'all cannot be crying before you even give me away. Mom and Nila are doing enough of that for all of us." They both nodded and soon it was time for me to walk out with them.

As I was walking down the aisle, the smile on Cal's face was more than enough to tell me how happy he was to be marrying me, and I am almost certain my face mirrored the same expression. Once we got to the altar, the priest said, "Who gives this woman to this man?"

Both Chad and Johnnie said, "We do." Chad said, "Along with her beautiful mother and beautiful stepmother."

They both kissed my cheek and I got up in front of Cal. Once they took their seats, the ceremony started.

By the end of it Cal and I were in tears. Both of our vows were just full of memories and inside jokes and it was just the perfect wedding. I really am married to the most amazing man in the world.

Once we slid the rings on, the priest said, "By the power vested in me I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Cal dipped me and kissed me long and passionately. Once he stood me back up, everyone was clapping. The music started and Cal and I walked down the aisle and back to the foyer.

Once we got out there, Cal said, "I can't believe we're officially married baby girl. I've been waiting for this day for ages. You're officially Mrs. Hood." "That I am baby, and I couldn't be happier."
