Kayn POV
Chapter 11

I left the house quickly. I didn't even glance towards my car as I walked. I know he hasn't left so using my car would ultimately backfire.
I look forward but kept my attention focused around me. My footsteps echoed in the night. The trees each hide a scary shadow or a face staring at me. I look up at the full moon rendered useless by the cloudy night sky.
A small sound alerts me from behind. I don't react I just keep going without even glancing back as if I never heard.
Lights flash wildly in the distance. I stop before scaling the park fence and heading towards the park fence carefully before dropping and taking the opportunity to look to see if I could find my trailer. Nothing.

Sigh. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much but for once I'd like things to be easy for me.

I jog through the crowd heading for the biggest tent I could see. It should be packed with spectators for the show. It should shake them off my tail.
I take of my mask and peel of my wig shaking out my blonde hair. I sneak into the changing room.

"Kayn you're late." Ross snaps, turning around to glare at my head poles through the curtains.

"Sorry, Ross." I grin sheepishly." I had to walk, my car broke down."

He shakes his head standing up. "You're lucky your the only acrobat we have or you would've just missed this chance. I run a circus here not a play house. Five minutes, ok?"

I nod and watch as he walks in the opposite direction and goes on stage before I walk

I grin sheepishly while watching him exit the room toward the stage before slipping into the changing room. A lot of masks and wigs hanging and staring at me on racks. Boots and hoops leaning against the beam in the side of the tent.
I pull my duffel bag from under a chair pulling out my costume. This whole idea wasn't much but now I have a somewhat ok alibi.

A/N
Hello loves,
Sorry for the absolute crappy schedule I'm updating on. I'm trying to make backup chapters so I can update every two weeks. Maybe even having even do more than that if I have an arsenal of unpublished stories.
This chapter was a but short but the point has gotten across (I hope) ill try for longer chapters in the future.
Anyway. Don't forget to vote comment and share. It helps me a lot and acts as motivation for me to write. No pressure tho what's most important for me is you sticking around and taking the time to read.
This has gone on a bit long so.
With love,
Grey
