Chapter Eighteen
It felt like hours before he was actually successful in calming me down. Something told me Deidara only did it because I was being too loud, disturbing him. But, as long as he wasn't ignoring me, and I was comfortably wrapped in his warm embrace, that didn't matter.
Because, in that moment, he cared.
And, if you could only imagine how sweet this might have been, then imagine only seconds later when our façade was shattered; bring along the reasons why being in a bed together might create an awkward atmosphere between us.
It was low, at first. And, upon hearing it, Deidara clutched me tighter, flushing my body against his completely. It was meant to be comforting, but I think he was just starting to get tired. "You don't have to cry, anymore."
"That wasn't me," I mumbled, trying my best to keep the material from his shirt out of my mouth. The hand that had been stroking my hair stopped, just in time for us to hear the noise, again.
"Bliss..."
"It wasn't me!"
He pulled back, looking down at me. This time, the sound came quicker, a bit louder. And, as it gradually grew in volume, Deidara's suspicious eyes grew from that of wonderment to horrified recognition.
Quickly, he covered my ears, hiding my face in his chest. So, when I opened my mouth to speak this time, it was almost impossible not to get cloth between my teeth. "Dweida," I spoke, trying to talk around the cotton, "Wrat awe you dwoing?"
He uncovered my eyes by a fraction, only enough so that I could hear him. "Just go to sleep."
"But, why?"
His eyes flitted around the dark room, only visible from the moonlight streaming in through the window. He looked uncomfortable as the noises grew louder, and something from began knocking against the wall from the room beside us. "Deidara?"
He frowned down at me. "Let's just say, they're engaging in activities that you won't experience for a time to come, hm."
Slightly, my eyes widened as I voluntarily buried my face into him, this time. Mainly to hide the red that had taken over my face, though. I felt stupid for not noticing, sooner. But what made this scenario even worse was when Deidara shattered his nice guy act, leaning down to whisper in my ear. "Unless...you'd like to try it sometime, yeah."

My nerves were on end as I steed at the village before me, its large gates making me feel smaller than I actually was. Deidara had said I would be safe, here. And, to stay put until he came for me.
But, this place was big, filled with unknown faces. This not being the only probably. To live here, I would have to talk to the most important woman here
The Hokage.
Anxiety had already begun to eat holes through my stomach. What if I slipped up in something? What if she didn't permit me to live here? Or, what if Deidara never came back?
I sighed, knowing it was too late to start worrying about these things, now. Teen Dream had already left, leaving meno choice but to do this, alone. Not that it was his fault. If he did attempt to help me, he'd be killed as soon as he stepped foot in the ninja based village.
But, then again, maybe that was his fault.
And as far as the ninja went, I think that why he may have chosen this particular village.
They were strong, he said.
I timidly steeped through the barrier, first noticing the two males situated at the front of the village. And, looking closer, I noticed the headbands tied around their foreheads. Ninjas. I swallowed, trying to remain calm. But, then again, I was kind of in the league with their enemy
All I needed to do was ask one simple question. But, the anxiety told me that was a bad idea. That I should just turn away and wait for Deidara at the gates.
But, he would get mad.
"Hi," I smiled. They both seemed mildly surprised that I had been standing there, probably not have noticed me, before. Not that most people did. "Can you take me to the Hokage?"
Only moments later I was stripped of my pride, my dignity. I had expected a full body inspection, for them to strip me of my clothes, maybe. To make sure I wasn't a spy, a danger to the Hokage-the village. I did not expect, however, for them to confiscate me of my candy.
If I hadn't of been being forced into living here, I would have left and never came back.
"Welcome to our village, Bliss." An older woman smiled from behind her desk. Her brown eyes were warm, and even though her age was unbeknownst to me, she was beautiful. Even with her abnormally large breasts. "What can we do for you?"
I nervously looked over to the other woman, with the smaller chest. She, too, was beautiful, giving me just as warm as a smile as her boss.
"I....uh-" my eyes roamed around the room, landing on strange boy pouting in the corner of the room. "I'd like to live here."
I would have expected laughing, or maybe even a scowl. But, the woman continued, not once losing the kind tone in her voice. "Do you have money?"
I cocked my head to the side, curiously staring at her. "For what?"
The woman aside the blonde sighed. "Listen, Bliss-"
"Why did you come here?"
"I didn't have anywhere else to go."I admitted, scared she'd ask more questions. What if it got to the point where she'd ask something that'd involve Deidara? If she knew-
"You hand's broke, is it?"
I nodded, looking over to the boy, again. He wasn't pouting, anymore. Instead, staring at us, his crystal blue eyes studying me.
She gave me a sad smile, she, too, studying me. "You look sick, Bliss." I blushed, looking away from the strange people. Had I been getting worse? I didn't think it had been that easy to tell. The blonde woman nodded, gesturing me to come closer.
"I'll let you stay, but only if you let me treat you." She winked, making her assistant scowl.
"Tsunade-!"
"Oh, hush, Shizune. If I don't do something else for awhile, I'm afraid I'll fall asleep."
"That's all you do!"
Tsunade glared at the dark haired woman, standing up. "It's not up for discussion.
"Naruto," she barked, addressing the boy in the corner. "Go get Sakura."
The boy frowned, looking between me and the strange blonde "Why?"
"Our friend here will need a place to stay, yes?"
