It's been far too long. You wanted to be with Paul already, but those guards had other plans.  Your skepticism had changed to total eagerness within minutes.

"That's it. I'm going out there. The consequences don't matter to me anymore." You confidently state, stepping out before Veronica pulls you back.

"Grandma, no! You can't! There are too many; we'll just get kicked out!"

You looked at the ground. "If this is where we part ways, then so be it. My goal is being accomplished, no matter how hard the task will be."

Jake walked out after, scanning us both. "Don't stop running, you two."

So you ran. You ran in zig-zag patterns, attempting to distract the guards. One tugged at the fabric of your shirt, causing you to fall harshly onto the hardwood floor.

"Grandma!" your grandkids cried out as you rolled into another person. Oh great. It's all over. This guard is going to give us the boot.

"Are you alright, love? You had quite the fall."

Wait a minute...
