Jake's POV
When Veronica followed grandma's command of playing upstairs, I stayed behind and watched her broken self wallow in pain over the vase, which I had no idea contained a message from Paul. The guilt just gets worse...
I took some paper and a pencil from her personal office, scribbling down a thought and meeting Veronica in the playroom.
"I never realized grandma had such a harsh past..." I sighed, the image of her staring at her newly broken vase in the back of my mind.
Veronica frowns. "Yeah, but what can we do? I mean, I could try to do something small, but it'll never be the same..."
"We could reunite them!"
"And just how are we going to do that? She doesn't even know where he is."
"He's a celebrity, right? Let's just look him up!"
Veronica and I got onto her computer in her office, typing his name in with tons of results popping up.
My eyes widened at the hundreds of results the lay before us.
"Wow...what should we look at?"
"Maybe pictures of him, just so we know?"
As we scroll down the images, Veronica falls in love.
"Aw...grandma was right! He is a cutie!"
"I can see why you like the young version, but he's old now! Ew!"
"He's the precious kind of old!"
I roll my eyes. "No more images for you. Let's just go to music. How should we do this, because look at all of the albums he has..."
"Listen to McCartney! That's the one grandma told us about."
A few minutes later, the album finishes, and we are both pleasantly surprised at how excellent it is.
"Wow...that was great!"
"He has a ton of albums, we should listen to more!"
"No, Veronica. We need to look at other stuff-wait...he's still touring? Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"You don't mean..."
"Yes I do."
