Veronica's POV
Everything was ready for Paul's upcoming tour. Today was boring compared to yesterday's adventure. I was cooped up in my room reading a book until Jake barged in, wide-eyed."Jake? Is something wrong?"
"I know the truth."
"What are you talking about?"
He leans in and whispers two surprising facts that Paul told him earlier.
"Wow," I murmured. "I'll help you with it, but is the second part true?"
"It has to be. He wouldn't lie about that."
Your POV
You were already used to the touring life. The constant packing, rushing to travel from one place to another, and losing the family in crowds of thousands or more was a routine you had gotten into rather quickly.
The reward of Paul's performances made up for every annoyance you face. Every night, he blows the crowd away with his musical skills, playing three hours straight without a single break. You were more than proud to call this legend your boyfriend. Not even some celebrities in their prime can go as long as him without stopper at least once.
At some point, Jake and Veronica made their decision to stop coming to the concerts. It took some time, but you decided to let them stay with Veronica in charge due to her maturity.
But you couldn't help but wonder what they could be doing for three hours.
