"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Paul whispered, softly kissing your cheek.

Ah, awoken like a princess. This man's romantic ways made you melt...

Paul had already made breakfast for you and the kids, knowing full well that today was the start of energetic touring months with you in his life.

Unfortunately, you couldn't participate in his adventures all that much. You didn't want to get in the way like one woman so often did during the final breaths of the Beatles. However, this did mean that you could get in every show for free, with some of the best seats for you and your grandkids.

"I'll be back for you guys before the show starts, ok?" he reminded before leaving.

Paul's POV

I left for the stadium I was playing in tonight, vacant of anyone at the moment. The band and I practiced every song, rehearsing thoroughly for our big night. To think that this is only one of the first tours I plan to do...

I still love playing for audiences. It doesn't matter how much I age.

Throughout the minor performances, I kept staring into space while still having control over my various instruments and voice.

The others were telling me "are you alright?" or "Paul? Come back to Earth...".

The truth was that I was exceptionally nervous.

For the show? Not at all. I've done this so many times it's practically a habit.

You see, ever since I found Y/N again changed me. I never realized how much I missed her until I saw her face. Then when she said how she told the story of us to her grandkids, it made me realize that I was a fool. On a hill. Why did I leave her when I was in a defenseless state? Why haven't we crossed paths in so long? Most importantly, I know that if this didn't all happen, she wouldn't be on this Earth.

That poor girl.

I want her to be mine. My girlfriend, at least for now. Yet I still feel worried that she'll reject me and I don't know why...

Well, we've finished our rehearsal and I get to see my beloved Y/N tonight. I must find the correct timing, that's all...

Your POV

Paul returned at long last. He got dressed a bit more formally, looking like a pure gentleman.

"We've got a few hours until the show starts. Would you like to go out, my lady?" he twirls you around and kisses you. "Might I add that you look stunning in that dress?"

So charming. You blushed and headed out with Paul and the kids to a rather elegant restaurant.

It was terrific, but Paul seemed to be acting strangely.

"Paul? Are you ok?"

He simply nodded. You knew something was wrong, but you decided to let it go.

It came time for Paul's concert, which was just as mind-blowing as the first time.

Of course, this time it wasn't such a struggle to find Paul. It would be a shame if the paparazzi found out about you though, they'd go insane.

Carefully sneaking past everyone, you went back to the hotel room, where everyone relaxed and Paul sat on the bed wait for you.

"Y/N, come to bed. I have something to tell you."

You eagerly crawled onto the soft mattress, awaiting Paul's words.

"Well...I've had the time of my life with you these past few days and it reminded me of our old relationship. I miss it, Y/N. I was wondering if you'd like to maybe...be my girlfriend? If you say no I understand, I've put you through a lot in the past, I'm a terrible person-"

You cut him off with a kiss. You couldn't stand to hear your Paulie talk about himself like that. "Paul, I'll be your girlfriend." Only a moron would turn down that offer. Paul melted into you, overjoyed that you were back in his life.

You were so focused on the delighted Macca in your arms that the thought of Jake and Veronica didn't even cross your mind.

"Veronica, do you mind if we have a private conversation?"
