Home sweet home at last. You sadly could only stay for about an hour or so just so you could pack everything necessary for the tour with Paul, who had traveled back with you.
"You've got a cute little house here, y' know." he complimented, roaming the space curiously until he laid his eyes on shards of broken glass.
His heart burst as he picked up what once was the vase he had gifted you. You didn't want to toss out the vase because of the memories, so you left it partially hidden in a box on a mantle.
Paul didn't want to say anything to upset you. He knew it probably wasn't your fault and that it most likely led to this in the first place.
He brushed it off and went back upstairs to help you pack some more.
"Is that everything?" he asked.
"It should be. Can you go check on Jake and Veronica to see if they're ready? Sometimes you can't trust them." you laughed.
Paul's POV
I went to the guest room in Y/N's house where the two seemed to lounge around.
"You two should be packing, y' know," I stated.
"Already done!" Veronica smiled, putting on her hefty backpack to show me, appreciating her endeavor.
All eyes were on Jake now, who still hadn't done a single thing.
"I haven't started yet, why does it matter?"
"It matters because we leave soon. Hurry up." I sigh.
Jake muttered something unintelligible, briefly giving me an evil stare.
"Look, I'm packing. Are you happy now?"
I nodded. "That wasn't so hard, was it?"
Jake's was constantly upset throughout the trip. All I did was tell him to start packing, I don't know why that was so horrible for him.
Your POV
Paul's hotel room was even nicer than your previous one if that was even possible.
"Jake and Veronica can sleep in that bed, and we can sleep in this one," Paul mentioned, pointing to the different sized beds in the room.
You get to sleep with Paul. Another feeling you're ready to experience again.
Paul was going all out for you on this tour. He had made food for everyone, setting up a mini romantic scene.
"Here you go, love." He winked, kissing your hand.
Veronica was impressed. Jake not so much.
After everyone had finished, Jake and Veronica had gone to sleep, certainly not happy with the idea of sharing a bed.
You crawled into bed, where you kept your distance from Paul in case he didn't want to be disturbed, but that didn't last long. He clung to you fast.
"You didn't think I wasn't going to cuddle you like old times, did you?"
His arms wrapped around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder and playing with your hair. He planted little kisses along your neck, making you shiver in delight.
Macca cuddles were the best cuddles.
You easily felt yourself drift off, and before you did, you heard him whisper one last thing:
"Goodnight, Y/N. We've got a big day tomorrow."
