double update uwu
theres actually a reason for the double update today, I'm having to go on hiatus until the first of june because of family issues so I thought I do two chapters before I disappear for a week and a bit

Minjae seemed to have a quite young headspace for the most part, maybe around two so he'd either be quite a handful or not at all an issue, it seemed to be the second one as Minjae had barely said a word and had eaten all his food with out complaints although it could just be that he wasn't comfortable yet.
He didn't even try to get Minjae to walk as he was almost 100% sure that the boy wouldn't be able to, instead he just propped Minjae up against his hip and brought him to the bathroom settling him down on the counter before quickly brushing his own teeth which received an occasional curious gurgle from baby Minnie,
Minnie had shoved quite a few fingers in his mouth by the time Huijun was done and he made a mental note to go find the spare paci Junhyuk had given them as soon as they where done. He pulled the fingers out and dried them off with a hand towel before grabbing Minjae's toothbrush from the stand,
"Open wide Minnie" He said as he placed a small blob of toothpaste on the utensil, he bared it at Minjae and the later instantly recoiled and whimpered
"Its just a toothbrush, I wont hurt you Minnie, It'll just make your mouth taste minty and good."
But baby Minnie couldn't understand and Huijun doubted he would care even if he could, He cupped Minnie's cheeks and spoke slowly and gently
"Close your eyes okay!? then it wont be scary"
He gently placed a hand over Minjae's eyes and when he removed it the baby's eyes were closed, he gently pulled Minjae's jaw so that his mouth was open and then began to brush his teeth, he made sure to do it gently and slowly and took his time,
It took quite a long time as he was doing it so carefully and he could tell Minjae was beginning to get a little bit impatient so he quickly finished up and took Minjae down from the counter and back into there room, he put Minjae down on the bed handing the boy a plushie before opening the draw and taking the paci out of its box, Junhyuk had said Minjae could keep it as he never used it and for that Huijun was very grateful.
Huijun went back over to the boy who put out his arms and made grabby hands waiting to be picked up, Huijun crouched down and held the paci in his hand not really sure how to go about his, but Minnie spotted the pacifier and his eyes lit up a little bit he whined and hung his mouth open so Huijun just went ahead and put it to the boys lips, he was rewarded with a happy Minjae who didn't fuss at all as he was picked up and taken to the living room.
He sat Minnie on the floor before taking a seat next to Minnie who snuggled into his side, reaching around Minjae he grabbed the remote
"Now what does Minnie want to watch?"
Minnie looked up at him with wide wet blinky eyes and made a gurgling whiny noise around his paci
"Ahhh I see..." Huijun humoured him and tapped the shield of his paci gently "That's a great choice Minnie~"
He flicked through the kids shows on Netflix reading out the titles with excited dramatic gasps, making the boy beside him giggle, when they got to a show called bubble guppies Minjae wiggled and gave of a small scream of laughter
"This one Minnie?"
Minnie giggled before wiggling again and patting Huijun's thigh with his hand to try make his hyungie hurry up so he could watch his show
Huijun put it on with a smile and lifted Minjae on to the sofa with him so they could be a bit more comfortable, Minjae didn't complain, he was do focused on the fishie children on TV, occasionally he would manage to form the word 'Fishies!' and shouting it whilst pointing at the screen with a giggle.
Huijun just laughed along with him gazing at the boy with endearment,
about an hour later Minjae had gotten sleepy so he turned of the tv and took the boy to his bed and they snuggled up together, Minnie giving Huijun a kiss through his paci before the both passed out.
