That night Rose and I didn’t go back to her apartment.
I took her to the nearest hotel just down the street and booked a room for the night.
Probably the best night of my life. Everything about her was perfect. She was amazing.
From staring into her beautiful brown eyes to feeling myself down her perfect body. Every single inch of her existence was within my grasp.
Nothing short of a masterpiece.
We woke up the next morning and she was cuddled up next to me laying on my chest.

“Morning Rose. You slept okay?”
“Probably the best sleep I’ve had in years", She replied.
She turned herself and was now laying on her bare chest, staring deeply into my eyes.
“What is this?”, she asked.
“What do you mean?"
“I mean, I just slept with you but the truth is that I can’t stop you from going to someone else tonight", she replied.
“Why would I ever do that?”
“I guess I’m just a little confused and maybe a tiny bit insecure", she said.
“Listen Rose, You don’t have to be confused. Where we are right now is enough of an explanation for me", I reassured her.
“If you’re feeling insecure, don’t. I’m right here with you, thinking about you, because this is what I want", I explained.
“You really mean that?”, she asked.v
“More than anything else.”
She pushed herself closer to me and gave me a kiss.
“So what does this mean?”, she asked.
“I was kind of thinking about this for a while actually. You know, I don’t feel the same way about anybody else.”
“Me too", she said.
“You want this as much as I do?”
“Yes Carlos.”
Her smile grew and she laughed a little.
“Then let’s do it. You and I."
“That didn’t sound like the right way to ask now, did it?”, she said while holding her excitement in.
“Okay, okay, if I must. Rose, be my girlfriend?”
“Yes Carlos, yes.”
I could feel her gripping onto me even tighter.
“We should probably get going now", I suggested.
“Can't we stay a little longer, just a little, we only need about an hour.”
“Sounds like a plan to me", I laughed.
