Hawks sleeps with his wings wrapped around him like a blanket. It's a habit he picked up when he was little as it makes him feel protected, safe and at home.

Also if he gets really scared or uncomfortable he hides behind them. It's a barrier he puts up to protect himself from whatever he doesn't like.
