Unexpected surprise

"Preston." I whispered gently shaking his shoulder to wake him up. In my other hand I held his medicine and I left the glass of water on his bedside table.

"Hmmm?" He stretched before slowly opening his eyes, groggily smiling up at me, "Good morning." He huskily spoke.

"Morning, sorry but you have to take you're medication."

I helped him sit up and afterwards I handed him the pills and drink. He threw the pills back and downed the water in five seconds. I take the glass off him.

Just as I'm about to leave, Preston grasps my hand and gently pulls me down so I'm sitting beside him at the edge of the bed.

"Don't go." He whispers, his eyes half closed. I smile and bend down kissing his forehead, "I'm not going anywhere." I promise.

He slowly moves over allowing me to lie down beside him on the bed as his arms immediately wrapped around my waist. I place the glass back on the bedside table and lie down.

Preston tiredly kisses my shoulder before slowly falling asleep, small snores escaping his mouth.

I softly giggled before allowing my own body to drift off into sleep.

"You know they don't have to come over today." Preston reminded me as I helped him off the bed, handing him his crutches.

"You're friends are coming over to welcome you back."

Preston sighed sadly but nodded knowing I wasn't going to tell them not to come. Rob and Choco were coming over as well, but Preston didn't know that.

"C'mon babe, lets go downstairs." I say after I kiss his cheek.

"Rob! Choco!" Preston yells in excitement and surprise as the two men walk through the door to greet Preston.

"Team Poofless reunites!" Rob screams overjoyed as he runs over and hugs Preston making him let out a loud "oof".

"Hey Preston!" Choco says as he waits for Rob to let go so he could hug Preston himself. "How are you?" Choco asks him after they exchange a 'manly' hug.

"I'm alright, i have a headache at time but I have my amazing girlfriend looking after me, so it's fine." He chuckles winking over at me as I blushed.

"Uh, does anyone want a drink?" I ask in attempt to forget what Preston said, "No sis, you sit down I'll get the drinks." Adam instructs guiding me to sit down on the couch beside Mitch and Alana and getting everyone's orders.

I looked over and saw Alana and Mitch in deep conversation. They've become closer those two have, and luckily Jerome doesn't mind. "Hey Biggums! Hey Alllllly!" Jerome calls as he walks over and sits on the edge of the couch joining in on their conversation.

Ty is standing up talking to Preston, Choco and Rob. They seem to be also having a deep conversation, Preston suddenly turns around and his eyes meet mind making me smile brightly.

He motions for me to come over so I push myself off my seat and saunter over, pecking Preston on the cheek as he wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"So Skylar?" I turn to Rob who was opposite me, "Whats it like looking after this one?" he motions to Preston making me smirk, "Well, it's okay, I found out he's very ticklish in the morning." I giggle grazing my hand over Preston's side making him jump at the sudden touch, yup he's very ticklish.

"So, do you think you'll get married someday?" Choco asks loudly suddenly making everyone go quiet as they turned to me. Adam even pops his head in to see my reaction.

My eyes are wide, full of shock from the random question, I glance around at everyone as they wait for me to answer, my eyes meet Preston's and I somehow immediately calm down, like the way he looks at me and any bad feelings vanish.

"Hopefully, when we're older and have everything sorted out yes, but for now I think we're happy at being boyfriend and girlfriend." Preston replies for me, I peck him on the lips as a quick thank you.

"Okay, so anyone up for some CoD?"

A/N

I'm sorry!!! I feel so bad for not writing sooner but I couldn't write it was like whenever I tried to write a chapter my fingers wouldn't move!

I have some good news and some bad news to tell you guys....... I'll start with the bad news to get it over with.

I might end this fanfic in around three or four chapters.... it's just my mind keeps going blank and I hate that feeling so imagine every time I'm about to write I get that feeling! And sorry but there will be no sequel.

It's just the way I want to end it and I think of I do a sequel it will ruin it and I won't enjoy writing it as much :/

Good news is that I'm on Christmas break so I'll be able to write these chapters now and not be disturbed.

At the end I will even do a short Christmas chapter but it might not be put up on Christmas if that's okay.
