He Di knocks on the door and it is immediately answered by a servant.
"Mr Wang please come through to the parlour, Mei Yin will be down with you just now."
"Remember I said you must call me He Di, Cong ... oh and happy new year." He grins.
"Happy new year to you too He Di." Smiles Cong.
He has always liked He Di, who treats him as his equal.
"Would you like anything to drink?"
"No I won't be staying long."
A few minutes later, Mei Yin walks into the room looking absolutely livid. He Di stands up from the chair.
"Hello Mei Yin?"
"I'm amazed you had the nerve to show up here today after disappearing on me last night!"
"I'm sorry about that, I..."
"Just where the hell did you go? Did you make a plan with that tart Chao Xing huh? Did you meet up with her after I left?"
"No, there is nothing romantic between Chao Xing and I!"
"So I suppose you are here to beg for my forgiveness? Well I'm sorry, but I'm going to make you work for it Wang He Di! You have a lot of making up to do because I'm very upset! You can start by taking me to lunch today. You will just have to cancel your lunch with Mr Emmet!"

"I knew that my heart already belonged to someone, so I shouldn't have dishonoured you by leading you on. I truly am sorry."
He Di bows to show his remorse. Stunned by this gesture, the seriousness of it dawing on her, Mei Yin stammers,
He Di nods his head solemnly. "I'm sorry Mei Yin, you really deserve better than this. I really am sorry."
"Get out! Get out now! How dare you do this to me!"
"I'm so..."
"GET OUT!!!"
He Di nods and then swiftly walks out the house, feeling bad for her. He sees now more than ever that she was totally wrong for him, but it was like he was in a fog, just going through the motions...anything to feel an ounce of normalcy while trying to live a life without Yue.
