It is "6 a.m." the morning of the big party, and He Di has had a restless night unable to sleep properly. He is sitting at his study, smoking and reflecting of this evening's coming events. He picks up the phone and makes a few phone calls, and when he is done talking he lights another cigarette, his eyes swiftly falling onto the family portrait that sits on his desk. He picks it up and smiles sadly at it. He Li was only one at the time and Yuèqín was being mischievous pulling a funny face. Both he and Yue loved it so much so they decided to have it framed. He can feel a bit of a headache coming on, he really must try catch a few hours of sleep before tonight, but he knows it's pointless. He is too tense, he will have to function on pure adrenalin.
Yue wakes up and finds He Di's side of the bed empty. Where is he, she wonders, smelling his pillow and craving his touch. She lies still for a few minutes dreading her performance tonight and wishing it was already over. She suddenly doesn't want to be alone, she needs to be with He Di right now, and usually when he gets up this early he will be doing some work in his study. She will start by looking for him there first, she decides. She gets out of bed, slips on a robe over her negligee and washes her face and teeth. She takes a detour to the kitchen and makes her soothing special brew of tea, sensing that her husband is highly stressed. It will help calm the nerves and relieve any pesky pains.
Yue sets the tray on the decorative hallway table outside He Di's study and opens the door. He Di looks up and watches his wife walk in carrying tea and two slices of cake. She is smiling beautifully at him looking fresh faced and younger than her years with no makeup on. Her moles become more prominent when her face is bare and he can't help but stare at them intensely, and then inevitably at her mouth. He loves to see her looking like this all natural and laid back in her jade green silk robe, hiding away the tastiness of her flimsy negligee underneath it. He can never get over how she still manages to take his breath away after all these years. This woman...this woman who has loved him endlessly and borne him two beautiful children. This woman is his life...he will do anything for her...anything...even kill for her.
Yue drinks in her husband as he sits by his desk brooding, with his tussled hair drooping sexily over his one eye. He usually wears it slicked back as is the fashion of the day, but in the morning time before all the grooming and preening, he becomes the boy she fell in love with all those years ago. She loves his hair, she loves running her fingers through it whenever they wake up, she loves massaging his head, and she loves having his hair tickle her chin whenever he is kissing her neck or collar bone. She wants to smell it right now she decides, so she puts the tray on his desk, and walks over to his side. She cradles his head into her bosom and takes deep breaths, inhaling his orange blossom shampoo. Hmm feels so good, she thinks happily.
He Di wraps his arms around his wife's waist, his face buried in her stomach. He can smell the sex they had last night on her, and its turning him on. She is tickling his scalp with her fingers and the sensations are driving him crazy. He abruptly pulls away from her and grabs the belt of her robe, untying it and letting it fall to the ground. Her cleavage is now staring him in the face, and he immediately dives in to kiss it all over. She moans and this causes him to stand up and clear some space on his large desk, before lifting and sitting her down on it. He pulls down his bottoms, hikes up her slip and insert himself in between her legs. He looks down at her and gives her a long and impassioned kiss, before thrusting into her and taking her urgently on his desk.
