The breakfast was silence so was the drive to River Stable that Ms May had transferred Haemi and Jimin to. Both were scheduled to meet up with Mr Kang at the stable before transporting Lion there and settle for a new life.

The few words exchange between them caused Jimin to be slightly agitated and worried mostly because he hope he didn't do anything this morning that pissed the girl off. Though the girl looked bothered, Jimin didn't hesitate to compliment her look today that was different to her usual riding jersey and breeches which made her blushed but Haemi was quick to cover her cheeks up by busying herself with the cooking.

Not trying to be creep or anything but Jimin caught himself staring at Haemi as the girl worked around the kitchen to prepare breakfast. His eyes would follow her everywhere and every move and sometimes fixed his gaze at her lips but the man lightly slapped himself for being a doofus and reminded of their strictly professional relationship.

Now he's in the passenger seat, trying to figure out what's wrong with Haemi and her frown as she drove. Yes, Haemi was driving because the girl literally snatched his keys from him when he was wearing his shoes. Her sassiness was kinda unmanageable but not to complain because it did turn him on a little.

"We're here"

Haemi pulled the brakes after parking the car in front of the River Stable. Honestly though, it was surely a fine looking stable, even nicer than their own stable, Crowner Stable.

Unlike Crowner Stable's woody and natural designs, River Stable had white and dark grey exterior with a big double sliding door that welcomes visitors. The stable was joined with a huge pasture that stretched to hectares. In front of the stable was where training arenas were and maybe more facilities behind those but the duo were too focused on the meet up to tour around.

"Miss Kim Haemi. What a honor"

The familiar deep voice sounded behind them. Haemi faked the biggest smile before turning around to greet the well-dressed man.

"Good morning, Mr Kang. Sporting the suit as usual"

Haemi's bright greeting made Mr Kang chuckled. He looked delighted to have her here and maybe more than happy to be informed of the transfer. Though Mr Kang still had questions regarding her sudden change of mind but he rather concentrate on the fortune marker than some ridiculous questioning of her decision. After all, his main goal was to make fortune out of the national equestrian.

Mr Kang welcomed Haemi with a warm hug before spotting Jimin who was just standing in silence beside the car. The man scanned the vet from head to toe with a questioning look.

"This is my personal vet, Doctor Park Jimin. And also my uh....bodyguard"

Haemi awkwardly smiled at her own introduction of her personal vet. Mr Kang's doubtful look was replaced by a beaming expression as he reached out to shake Jimin's hand. Although it was weird to have someone as your personal vet AND bodyguard but Mr Kang still trusted Haemi's decision because he was too hyped for having a champion in his backyard.

Mr Kang's secretary interrupted their introduction and led them to the meeting room to settle some details and conditions. Haemi fixed her blouse and eyed Jimin for awhile before following Mr Kang. The vet sighed seeing how Haemi still hasn't engage in a proper conversation with him but he brushed it off and trailed behind her.

The duo was amazed at the interior of the stable. With white and black essence as the theme color, River Stable sure looked classy and rich.

As Jimin continued to walk down the pathway to the room, he begun to observe the horses thoroughly. No doubt all of them were amazing equines but that wasn't what Jimin was eyeing them for. The vet dragged his gaze all around the horse he was passing by and to his not-so-surprise discovery, the horses had scars. Because of the black bars of the stalls, he couldn't quite see the lower half of the animals and he knew there were more than his eyes could see.
