The bandage tore again after Haemi changed it for the hundredth times but being an equestrian and practicing all day will surely irritated her wounded palm and also shifts the bandage. She stopped Lion and removed her gloves, only to find her wound being exposed. She sighed before hopping off the tall horse.

Th arena she was in was empty and even Ms May wasn't there. The trainer had previously informed her prize student that she will be having other training for Haemi went ahead and practice herself. Another reason it was empty because Haemi chose a hidden arena at the back of the barn where she knew her new personal vet wouldn't find her. She didn't need another headache to deal with and Haemi promised to concentrate on her training today but her wounded palm seemed to have distracted her a couple of times.

She tied Lion to a fence before jogging away to the infirmary where the plasters are.

"Did the plaster slip again?"

Haemi flinched at the voice but smiled at the kind vet who worked for another rider.

"Hi Lora. Yeah, it did but it's okay I can-"

"You can't replace it again cause there's not enough plasters. Stay here, I'll go get some"

Lora grinned before exiting the room, leaving Haemi alone. She sat down at a stool and spin around while waiting for Lora's return. Her legs dangled as she boringly scanned the infirmary.

Then, fast footsteps sounded down the hallway but Haemi didn't pay much attention it. The footsteps begun to closed in on the infirmary before it finally entered the room but what startled the girl was the closing of the door and the clicking which indicated the door was locked.

Haemi abruptly stood up and spun around, ready to question the new visitor's intention but her eyes were met with a familiar sunglasses and brunette hair. Doctor Park.

"H-Hey Miss Haemi"

Jimin lowly greeted with a small grin as his body blocked the door as if he was trying to lock her in. Haemi crossed her arms and arched an eyebrow, dismissing his greeting and demanding for an explanation.

Jimin left his post at the door and started approaching her. Haemi didn't move a muscle even when Jimin stopped right in front of her. Her elbows slightly graced his chest as she dragged her gaze up to him. A stunning asshole.

"Listen, I just want to talk to you"

He awkwardly rubbed his neck as he whispered but Haemi only hummed in approval, still feeling hostile as she was basically forced to do what he wants. Haemi lazily plopped down onto one of the beds and mindlessly stared at him.

"I just want to apologize for whatever happened last night-"

"What exactly happened last night?"

Jimin gulped upon hearing Haemi's weak voice. She remained calm and steady but he knew she was sensitive and with enough provocation, she would explode on him. He knew what she was asking how he also want to keep the part where he fought with his ex's man which was also the reason why he was an asshole when Haemi crashed his car.

"I know I hurt you and I'm sorry. I just....wasn't in the mood for anything"

He sighed and lowered his gaze to the ground. The girl sat still and unfazed but for all he knew, Haemi was a ticking bomb. Why exactly? He didn't know.

They sat in silence for minutes. Haemi looked less tense now but Jimin still hold back his mouth in case he tick the bomb. His eyes wondered to her palm which she was holding and realized the cut. He dragged a stool to her before sitting in front of her. He took her palm that she reluctantly allowed and inspected it.
