He was way beyond the speed limit, pressing the paddle as he raced across the road. Pupils dilated, breathing became uneven, heart thumping. His nerves wasn't calming down until he made sure to drag Haemi and Lion out of there before disaster happens but the only problem was the miles he had to travel to get yo the outskirts of Seoul where cross-country course was.

With mind filled with both determination and anxiety, Jimin stomped the paddle again, putting all his faith into his black Jaguar to race him to Haemi.

Jimin tightened his grip on the steering wheel, causing his knuckles to turn white. He dialed Haemi's number again but it only went straight to voicemail which meant the girl had abandoned her phone to get ready. His jaw clenched as sweat begun to roll down his forehead.

"Wait for me, baby. Please just wait for me...."

It took him about 20 minutes to reach the destination. Upon arrival, Jimin hopped out of the car, not even glancing at it to check his parking before sprinting towards the stable where participants were provided stalls for their horses to get ready in.

Jimin ran as fast as his legs could take him even though exhaustion was catching up on his limbs. When he reached the stable, it was crowded but his eyes couldn't catch any glimpse of her beautiful figure nor the brightly colored palomino horse and it caused his heart to beat faster.

He begun squeezing through the busy crowd, earning some groan and complaints about his disturbance but he couldn't care less when the girl he loves was in danger and so was the horse.

After squeezing through the crowd, Jimin arrived at the end of the stable which no luck of finding Haemi and Lion. He spun around, hoping to catch a glimpse of something, anything.

Finally, his eyes landed on a dusty golden horse but unfortunately the horse was further away but what made his heart stopped was the fact that the duo was right at the starting line as they trotted around, getting ready to canter off.

"No no....NO HAEMI STOP!"

Jimin yelled before rushing towards her. The distance between the starting line and the stable was not far but the audience standing in between was his obstacles. Once again, the man had to squeeze through while screaming for Haemi to stop but the girl heard nothing at all except cheers and clapping.

she leaned down a little and patted Lion's neck who have been swinging his head and stomping the ground like a wild animal ready to be released. Though his behavior might have been seen as a hors being cooped up for too long and this cross-country was making the horse itch for freedom, Jimin saw it clearly that Lion was nothing but drugged and giddy.

The horse was surely so high on steroids, and dare he no say, Thyroxine and Lasix are included as well. The dilated pupils, twitching ears and swinging heads proved it all. Lion was high. Literally.

"Calm down, bud. It's ok-"

Haemi tried patting his neck and moved to his ears to try and caressed it like how he liked it but Lion swung his head and swayed her hand away. Now Haemi is worried but she brushed it off since she had given into the assumption of Lion still being mad at her for ditching him so she thought she couldn't do anything but let him run through the wind for this cross-country.

While Haemi was struggling on Lion, Jimin was having a hard time as well with the audience blocking his way. Even when he finally broke through the crowd, Jimin landed straight into the strong arms of two guards who was standing at the starting line.
