Frown and pout. Those were the only feature Jimin presented as he stared at the stacks of papers and messy table as pens rolled around and sticky notes every where. It was surely not his ideal type of dinner which was suggested by Haemi who was sticking her nose in papers instead of the chilled noodles beside her.

Jimin was quite excited as to where Haemi would bring him for dinner and maybe make it up to her by paying for dinner but instead, the girl brought him back to her apartment along with files of the papers she took from his office regarding their mission and displayed them all over the table and begun her long hours of deciphering, solving, and untangling.

It is understandable that she seldom replied him while she busied herself with the mission but Jimin couldn't let her starve while she become a freaking egghead when solving this so the vet volunteered to cook themselves some ramen only to be left untouched by the busy girl.

Maybe it's because of her willingness to forgive him after his shitty doings or the fact that she's finally talking to him but Jimin couldn't help but romanticized the expected dinner she has mentioned.

"Doctor Park, look"

Jimin rolled his eyes at how she addressed him even though he reminded her of his real name after work. It really burnt all the fantasies Jimin had with the dinner when she called him but he pushed off all the thoughts and remained professional as she wished.

He sighed before strolled around the table to stand beside Haemi who had her eyes fixed on a particular paper in her hands. When Haemi felt his presence beside her, she pointed to a specific column with the name of Light Cloud with her pinky finger which Jimin found cute but held his smile back and focus on the issue.

He frowned a little as he read the medical report of the horse thoroughly. The empty and vague report was giving him the eerie vibe and his guts were telling him something wasn't right. Jimin leaned closer and reread the statements, hoping that he didn't miss anything but the truth was he didn't miss anything since there's nothing to miss. Literally nothing to miss.

There was no graph to show Light Cloud's health inclination or declination, no table to show the dates and times of his check-ups, no schedule of his monthly treatment or assessment, and absolutely no injuries or bad health. It wasn't bad nor it was good. It was.....blank.

The last time his medical report was updated was dated back to seven months prior which was very long ago.

Jimin gulped and bit his lower lip, heart thumping in worrisome for the poor Light Cloud. He was sure something was wrong but without the horse's simple medical report, Jimin had to make one himself which will be very suspicious in the eyes of the River Stable.

Jimin leaned even closer as his worked out the puzzle in his head, completely oblivious of himself pressing against Haemi who was doing nothing but stand frozen with her hands sightly clenching the paper.

This is ridiculous. The fact that she threw a tantrum about him being all touchy in work or the time she shoved him out of the apartment because he disregarded her feelings and went in with the "friends with benefits" crap but now found herself lip biting as he leaned on her.

Haemi rapidly blinked away her nervousness and thoughts before pushing herself away from him. She slammed the paper on the table so Jimin would stick to the table instead of her.

"......I-I came across some empty reports as well....maybe you can check them out later"

Haemi strolled to Jimin's previous seat and pulled her bowl of soggy ramen before eating it with a scrunched face as the cold noodles entered her mouth. Seeing her munching down the disgusting noodles made Jimin tsked. Before Haemi knew it, she was dragged from the dining room to the door and out of her apartment by Jimin who was determined to properly feed her even though she was the one who sticked to ramen instead of proper meal.
