His hand worked around the scattered papers with his handwriting scribbled everywhere. Drafts drawn and pined to the board behind him with a few red strings connecting the papers as if he was some kind of detective which indeed he was. Jimin was have been juggling between the mission and also his actual work which sadly wasn't bothering him much considering his client always have things under-control.

Yes, his one and only client who have been giving him the silent treatment for as long as he could keep count of. Haemi was obvious with her intention of avoiding him after their eventful encounter in her apartment.

At first, Jimin was spamming her phone with calls and texts and following her around her schedule and sticking to her like a glue, hoping to get her attention but that soon became impossible when she stack paper works regarding the mission onto him and that kept him really busy. She also requested for a thousand check-ups, deworming, clinic checks on Lion even though she didn't attend some of the check-ups. Obviously was trying to keep Jimin occupied while she sort out her emotions and thoughts.

Jimin sighed upon recalling the nth times he called her name but getting nothing in response or another errand she came up on spot to shoo him away.

Speaking of which, his office's door opened and revealed the girl herself. Haemi entered without a knock and expressionless like always before putting a file onto his messy desk which probably has the new information about the horses they were investigating. Before Haemi could leave with no words, Jimin was quick enough to zoom passed her and slammed the door close, preventing her from escaping again.

"Haemi-"

"We're at work"

"....M-Miss Haemi....."

Yeap. That's what Jimin had been getting from her every time he attempted a conversation. Heami crossed her arms in front of her chest and arched a brow, waiting for him to talk.

"Please, just let me talk to you"

Jimin plead lowly with his back still firmly pressed against the door. Haemi remained quiet for a few seconds before her entire figure relaxed and sighed. She nodded and went to take a seat. Finally, a response that gave him hope.

He pulled his roller chair to sit in front of her before taking both of her hands. Haemi frowned a little and tired to wiggle her hands out of his grip but he held them tighter.

"Look at me, Miss Haemi"

Jimin whispered as he closed in, hoping to show the girl that he had no intention of hurting her anymore, at least, not that he know of. Haemi sighed again before looking up to him. Jimin's heart skipped when their gaze met. It made him realized how much he missed her.

"First at all.....I miss- I mean....I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being so unprofessional, inconsiderate, rude and invasive. I'm sorry for not understanding what you're going through. I'm sorry I kept hurting you in many ways and took you so granted, not to mention, breaking your trust. I'm truly sorry, Haemi."

Jimin licked his dried lips and gulped, still waiting for her reaction. He knew she was going to say the same thing about his useless apology because he never learn but right now, Jimin learned to cherish her and he wished her to see that and give him another chance.

"Second of all, you can slap me, punch me or yell at me for being such asshole. Whatever you want to do to me, just please, forgive me....please?"

Jimin softened his grip on her hand and surprisingly Haemi didn't pull away. He gently caressed the back of her hands with his thumbs as he gazed deeply into her.
