"Kim Haemi"

The voice called out and it made her world stop. Haemi was utterly surprised and confusion to see him here, more specifically, Jeon Jungkook. The orthopedic doctor who she has just visited and might have left some tension behind.

The doctor looked the same, still in his white coat and stethoscope around his neck. Unlike her personal vet who wore dress shirt and trousers, Jungkook had a vest on and even got his hair styled. Though she didn't blame Jimin for not grooming as well as Jungkook because he had to run errands in a hot stable and muddy fields, Haemi still wished Jimin could dress like Jungkook.

The young doctor approached Haemi with bigger steps and finally stopped in front of the duo when Jimin instinctively blocked his way to the girl by standing slightly in front of her making Jungkook side-eyed him before averting his gaze to the girl.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you Crowner Stable's rider?"

Jungkook eyed Haemi from head to toe before stopping his gaze on her shoulder for awhile, slightly concern for her injury.

Haemi gulped at his question mainly because she didn't want the mission to be exposed but she also knew that Jungkook knew how much she competed with River Stable to stay on top along with Crowner Stabled which caused the doctor to be suspicious of her sudden appearance here.

Though she was slightly panicking, Haemi kept a cold gaze on him and a lazy posture, hoping to indicate her lack of interest in speaking to him.

"It's a my choice to stay or leave a stable. And, it's also my choice to get on or off a horse"

Haemi voiced a hint of annoyance at how he reacted when he found out she was still riding. Jungkook sighed and clenched his jaw a little but released the tension when he glanced at Jimin who was silent the whole time but his body was defensing the girl.

Before Jungkook ask about Jimin, Haemi cut in.

"And what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital and not in a stable?"

Haemi once again laced her voice with sarcasm, quite the childish move but she just wanted to get on his nerves like he used to do.

Jungkook narrowed his eyes at her when he heard her words but brushed it off and be the bigger person here, or so he thought.

"I'm an athlete doctor in River Stable and I'm just here to check-up on my patients.....you included"

Jimin turned to glance at the girl who awkwardly looked away. It must've hurt his pride for her to not call her personal vet in dire times as if he wasn't up for his job and instead she searched for some doe eyes dude dressed in laboratory coats. 

While Jimin lowered his guard as he turned to Haemi, Jungkook took the opportunity to walk to her and checked her shoulder by placing his palm on it and caressed it, looking for any discomfort. But before he could even further his checking, Jimin grabbed his wrist and lightly pushed it away.

"I'm her personal vet AND doctor as well so I suggest you go work with your own patient and not bother mine"

Jimin glared at Jungkook before pulling Haemi away. Jungkook just clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes, remembering how their love story started and it was something like that. Geez, Haemi has a thing for doctors, huh....

The clueless girl was practically dragged to the other side of the stable, far away from Jungkook. Jimin finally stopped in front of a empty tack room before whipping his body around and frowned at the girl.

"Why didn't you call me last night? I could've help you with your shoulder instead"

"It was 2am and you must be asleep by then"
