Counting down. A day before the steeplechase. Unlike the other riders who have been training non-stop to strengthen their horses and build their bonds, Haemi chose to stay off Sawyer and brought him on a lazy and casual trail ride around the hills. The girl couldn't bare seeing the horse pants like it's was his last breath. Though she hated the idea of using Sawyer to expose River Stable, she knew they had no other choice.

And instead of resuming his usual evaluation, Doctor Park have decided to join his girlfriend on her little trip around the hills on the bratty snappy palomino horse of Haemi, Lion. Unlike his calm professional girlfriend, Jimin found himself struggling to stay alive on the big palomino as he's on continuous battle with the horse who just loves to play with the poor vet.

Haemi finally spared him a glance at the vet after minutes of staring at the sunset as the troposphere was painted with hues of yellow and orange. When her eyes torn away from the mesmerizing sunset, Haemi let out a chuckle when she witnessed Lion abruptly raised it's head and hit the vet right in his pointy nose with its neck.

Jimin let go of the rein and pressed his aching nose with his palm while mumbling vulgar words at the horse. Honestly, the vet was just chilling when he accidentally kicked Lion's stomach too harshly when he nudged the horse to walk forward and therefore the horse figured the best reaction was to crash his nose.

"You good, Doctor Park?"

Haemi teased as she turned Sawyer around and walked towards the poor vet while he's still groaning and holding his nose. Jimin glared Haemi when he sensed the obvious mockery in her voice. Someone is begging for punishment.

"Apparently, your beast isn't in the best mood today, Miss Kim"

Lion swayed its tail to slap the vet's leg when Jimin called it a beast. Haemi giggled and patted Sawyer for being a calm and sweet horse though the reason for it's behavior might not be pretty at all.

She could practically see the non-existence eye roll of her palomino horse when the vet led it out of its stall. She might have a good explanation as to why Lion was behaving more snappy and bratty than usual and it got a lot to do with the fact that the palomino wasn't please with her choice of riding Sawyer instead of him especially after being frequently absent.

Haemi was sorry and guilty for not attending to her horse like she used to. She remembered how clingy they both can be whenever they hang out but because of the fiasco her life was getting into, Haemi must put the horse second to the mission which upset her as well. However, the girl have vowed to make it up to the horse after this whole crap is over.

And as of right now, Jimin is doing a great job distracting the palomino as well as keeping it company because the vet spent lots of time around the stable and must've been checking up on the horse while his girlfriend is busy.

Haemi smiled as she watched the two bonded over small fights like Jimin pulling on the rein or Lion occasional rearing. She nudged Sawyer to walk closer to them before turning Jimin's head to her by his chin and pecked his aching nose, leaving the man dumbfounded and also star-struck.

"There. Better?"

"Absolutely not. I need a kiss."

Jimin narrowed his eyes and puckered his lips a little as if he was demanding for a savoring kiss from her. Haemi would be more than glad to provide such privilege but not when both were on horsebacks and would be much more difficult when the horse Jimin was riding is taller than hers. So Haemi came up with another plan.

Tease.

She smirked at him with her eyes staring through his skull while her hand sneakily trailed up his bulging thigh and caressed between his thigh and hip, purposely gracing her fingers near his crotch.
