The Cabin was beautiful. You could see the sea out of each window, Seagulls cried from above and all round. They arrived around midday so the beach was packed, Kole thought it best to wait until it was almost empty, the loud hustle and bustle of the children bothered him. Marve brought their things inside and checked over the house to make sure all groceries were in stock, the heating was working and the shower. "Thanks, Marve." Kole smiled, He gave Marve some extra money to cover fuel, food and overnight stay for his drive back. Marve was ready to leave, about to walk out the door but Molly stopped him, "Aren't you going to stay for food?" she asked. "I'm sure I shouldn't ma'am" Marve refused. "No, Marve please! I want to cook for you both." pleaded Molly, she nudged kole in the arm with a sharp dig. "Ouch!" he yelled. She looked at him, then back at Marve. "I think you should stay." Molly added sternly. Marve looked at Kole, awaiting his orders like a soldier. "Marve, Molly's a great cook, you should stay for dinner. That's an order." Kole commanded. Marve nodded, shut the door behind him and went into the spare room, looking for something apparently. Kole retreated to his bedroom and Molly spun around the kitchen happily cooking a meal. "I FOUND THE RED WINE!" she screamed, dancing with the bottled. Kole came in, smirking as usual. "You're gonna break another toe." he teased. "I can't feel the one I've already broken anymore so may as well!" she laughed, popping the cork and watching it zoom across the room. "You sure you didn't find another bottle?" he taunted. "I'm just happy, Kole!" she groaned. "I know, I love your smile." he purred. "Woah, don't get soppy on me Delmarno!" she exclaimed. "What do you mean?" he chuckled, sliding round the kitchen table towards her. "I mean that your a big bad 'gang leader' and you need to be assertive!" she giggled waving her hands around at the words 'gang leader'. "Okay, we're gonna change the word 'gang' we're gonna replace it." he moaned. "Okay, crooks? I think crooks works." she teased. He slid closer to her. "Marve is here." she alerted. "He'll be fine." he grinned, leaning in to kiss her. He was expecting a passionate, romantic kiss but instead he got a peck and Molly turned back round to her sizzling frying pan. Wow, disappointing, thought Kole.

Molly was cooking for at least two hours, she set the table up, digging out a table cloth and spreading it out neatly over the table, dusting the seats down and plating up. "Boys!" she yelled. They shared a nice meal, silent but enjoyable. Marve thanked Molly for the meal, "Compliments to the chef." he smiled and then waved goodbye. "So, sleeping arrangements?" Kole asked. "I want to stay with you." she demanded. A woman who knows what she wants right? best option. "Well, of course, i'd like that." Kole delighted. "I think i'm gonna get some rest, it'll be dark soon." she added, putting her plates in the sink and slumping into the master bedroom. "I'm behind you!" called Kole, pleased to be getting a long sleep at last, he'd been stressed each night, wondering where him and Molly were, he knew the location of course but more of where their relationship was? Would this have even been possible if Molly had managed to text Olivia and not him?

Kol was deep in thought again, Molly almost asleep on his chest he reached onto his dresser and lifted up a book. "What's that about?" She whispered, purring slightly as she wriggled on his chest. "It's just a finance book... I used to read them a lot." He replies softly. "Read it to me." She uttered. "A finance book?" He asked trying not to laugh, in case of knocking her, but failing. "It'll definitely get me to sleep." She joked. He obeyed. Numbers and numbers were all he babbled on about and Molly listened for a while but when the reached the thirty-sixth page she fell into a sleep, Kole noticed and put the book back to shuffle into bed with her. She lay there, like sleeping beauty, every feature complimenting the next. He stayed up on his phone for hours, unable to sleep for whatever reason. By 3:00am he was bored of his phone and decided to wake Molly.

"Molls." he whispered, moving her slightly. She grumbled as she started to wake. "What." she groaned. "I want you to come somewhere." he whispered again. She huffed an angry puff of air and sat up. "Where now!" she snapped. "To the beach." he smirked, flinging the sheets from him and leaving her alone in the room. "For F sake Kole!" she yelled. "F? what you're pronouncing letters now?" he teased. Angrily, she climbed out of bed, after being so comfortable in her khaki green shorts and a loose t-shirt she now felt coled. "Its cold Kole!" she moaned. "Even coleder outside!" he exclaimed. Unwillingly, she followed him out into the sand and across the beach to a rocky cove. "It's nice hear right?" he cheered. "Nicer in bed." she mumbled, sitting down on a rock to shiver. He sat beside her, wrapping his arm round her and smirking. "Its nice out here, principessa." he asserted. "Principessa. what's that mean?" she asked, now starting to settle into the idea that she was going to have to sit outside in the cold with him. "It's Italian for princess, and you are the dulzura de mi vida." he hummed. "And that means?" she giggled. "Sweetness of my life." he grinned. Now she was nervous, so she said nothing. Probably not a smart idea, she had fallen for him and she knew that but there were so many questions and so many wrong answers. She decided on changing subjects, to a deeper conversation. "Kole, where did the scare come from?" she asked. "Which one?" he chuckled. She ran her hand across the scar on his face, applying just enough pressure. This stopped Kole in his tracks, all his cockiness slid away and he decided to let her in, just a little, but in nevertheless. "We have rivals, father's side were out fighting them whilst I stayed home with mother. I Was only fifteen so he wanted me protected, heir to his legacy and all..." he began, " But they had another attack, they invaded our home and tried to use my mother as a hostage, to force my father to leave town and let go of his gang, his company and his whole legacy. When he refused the first time they hit my mother, when he refused then, they sliced my face. Hearing me cry he finally gave in, so they left, unaware that father had arranged his men to wait outside and shoot them on sight. That's the story behind my scar. Your turn." Molly was listening so contently that she hadn't even realised he had stopped, hanging onto each word and feeling his pain as he spoke. "What, I don't have a a scar?" she asked. "I mean emotional. Why are you so afraid of Max?" he urged. At first, she thought not to tell him, however she considered it, he had just told her something that clearly haunted him, why and how could she not do the same? "Max, made me do something... that I didn't want to." she cried. "Molly did he-" he started. "No! nothing like that, but... it could get me put in prison, Kole, or killed." she whimpered. Kole was about to find out that Molly wasn't all perfect, he could feel it and the emphasis on his name made him understand that this was something big, something that could change his perspective on her. Was he ready? "Kole we robbed your company." she blurted. Kole knew exactly what she meant, around a year ago his father's company was robbed and in the midst of all the commotion the leader of their rivals was shot during a meeting his father, Luiz, had arranged to negotiate borders. Their rivals had assumed the death of their boss was ordered by Luiz and made a move into their land, Luckily, Luiz and his men chased them off and they were at peace for now. "It's my father's Molly, and i know about the shooting." he informed. "Shit, Kole i'm so sorry." she sobbed. "Molly. It was our rivals, it's fine." he consoled, pulling her into a tight hug. "Kole, he died!" she cried. "Was it you?" he asked. "Max fired the shot." she told him. "Then I promise you, you did nothing and i will protect you." he promised. They sat embracing for a while then they retreated to their beds. "Molly." he called. "Yeah." she murmured. "Keep this from Luiz, he can't know." he insisted. Without another word, the couple climbed into bed, each had alot of thinking to do. Molly had just let Kole into one of the biggest secrets she had, revealing once and for all that she was not as innocent as he had assumed and Kole had just learned that one of the biggest losses his family had suffered was caused by the girl he had now fell in love with. They each had scars from these moments but contrasted with the other, he had no idea how to feel, all he knew was Luiz would have his head.
