I was ready to kill him. Speeding away, Charlie shivering next to me. "Kole can we talk now." He begged. I was sick to death of hearing his voice. Why couldn't he just be the right hand man instead of the snakey best friend? My blood boiled. "Charlie shut the fuck up or the next bullets at you." I threatened. Thank god he took that warning.
Not five minutes later, "so what's the plan." Charlie asked me. Finally, my right hand man. "I know the place, shitty bungalow on the block." I explained. "So what's out first move." Charlie sighed. "Through the back door, quiet as possible, shoot anyone that we see, silencers on." I ordered. He nodded his head, accepting the orders from his boss.
I was angry now, the rage was phenomenal. I've wanted to kill before but WOW was this intense. I arrived on the street, parking at the end and hiding my gun down my jeans. Charlie did the same, hopping out simultaneously. I crept round the back of the house, Full stealth mode. He wasn't getting away this time. I'd make it hell for him.
We crashed through the back door, hiding in different places instantly, knowing that the crash would make any residents run to the back door, completely unaware that we were already in and hidden.
Just as expected, a man came in he was so clearly flustered. And I thrived off shock. I stood up, waiting for a second to see his fear-stricken gasp. A shot, straight through his throat, leaving him gagging silently on the floor. I loved it. I love it.
A body on the floor already, we continued through the house. Hearing the footsteps above, we hid in a cupboard under the stairs, leaving the door wide enough for the end of my gun to fit and point.
Not too long waiting, a woman in a dressing gown came down. Charlie, unexpectedly, jumped out and put a bullet straight into her brow-bone.
When the next person came down, instead of shooting her down, I pulled her into the cupboard with us. I pointed my gun at her nose, hard enough to push its shape. "Is Max here?" I whispered. She nodded.
PEW, I shot her. She dropped back into Charlie's arms. He dashed an angry look at me but I ignored him.
After kissing my girl, he deserved to be that body but I'd let him get away with it if he proved his worth. In this life, that's how it works. Be worth something or find the bullet in your forehead, or heart... if the killer's bored.
I was too lazy for that, bullet in the forehead will kill you almost instantly. I didn't play, unless you'd really damaged me, then you'd feel my wrath, but when I just needed to kill you... forehead would do.
Ignoring Charlie's petty aggression, I clambered out of the cupboard and crept up the stairs. I wasn't about to wait for them to come down. I heard Charlie, reluctantly, follow me.
Reaching the top of the stairs, I ran into the bathroom that appeared to be empty. Little did I know, I met a plump woman in the bath, covering her breasts she looked at me stunned. Yikes, I thought. "Sorry, Miss." I apologised, signing for her to keep quiet.
She nodded and sunk back into her bath, as if I wasn't there. What a weird woman, I thought. A man she didn't know had just came in whilst she was having a bath, splattered in blood and gun in his hand and all she did was pick up her shower gel.
"Honey!" I voice called. "He means me." The woman whispered to me. "I'm after Max." I replied, as quiet as I could. "I know. Charlie let me know a few hours back, your Kole Delmarno, right?" She informed.
I was slightly shocked to find his woman knew my name, but then again my family wasn't exactly hidden was it? I nodded in her direction before opening the door to leave her again, knowing that the hallway was now clear.
To my surprise, Charlie was holding this woman's husband's dead body in his arms. He shrugged at me as if to say 'I had to.' I nodded, closing the bathroom door so that whoever that woman was wouldn't hear me.
I crept on, heading into the one room with a shut door. I had to jump to my feet instantly, he was right there, facing away from me, playing on a gaming console that I hadn't seen in years.
"Dad?" He groaned, apparently not happy to have his gaming interrupted. "Nah. He's on the stairs bleeding out." I chimed, saying it in the happiest way I could. "Oh. Okay. Wait- shi" he realised what I said then.
Without taking a look at me, he dived to his window. I slammed into him, knocking him to the ground. He was looking up at me now, desperation for life in his eyes. "Shouldn't have ran the first time or Papa would still be alive." I smirked.
Max was shaking. His eyes reminded me of Molly, he actually had the same features as her, strange as they were nowhere near related, well thats what Molly told me. "Stand." A voice commanded from the doorway. It was Charlie. Holding Max's father's lifeless body by the neck in his left hand, gun out in his right. Max did as told, not turning to see his father.
"You gonna kill him now?" Charlie asked. "Nah, I'm gonna torture the bitch." I grinned, I was completely thriving off of that moment. I'd caught him. I didn't fail. "Take him to the car." I ordered Charlie.
Pulling out my phone, I texted some of my workers and let them know I needed cleanup. Waiting to hear the door shut, I headed back into the bathroom. "So," I hummed taking a seat on the toilet, gun rested on my knee, "are you Max's mother?" I questioned.
"No actually, I'm his mother's sister." She answered. She began flirting with her eyes, trust me I'm used to that. And she did nothing for me. "And you're sleeping with his father? Ooh that's harsh." I hummed.
"I could be sleeping with you." She winked. I cringed. Without another word, I ended her, bullet to the heart that one. I watched for a few seconds as the clear bath water around her turned to a deep red. The cops would hate this one.
I left Max's father in his sons bedroom, with max gone the cops would either assume he killed them or that Daddy Max had killed his mistress and then himself. A perfect plan. A perfect kill. Dang I was good at this. And now... I had Max. But what to do with him?

𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩I caught a taxi back to Kole's apartment, drunk and still slightly high from that stupid pill Charlie had gave me. It was late when I left the club, I was terrified Max would find me, yet he didn't. I got all the way to Kole's apartment in one piece. I'd nicked the key from Kelly when she left with whoever that guy was, and was I ready for bed!
As I collapsed onto Kole's soft and springy king-size mattress, I hoped he would come here soon, instead of staying at his mother's. What would I tell him about the kiss? I guess I'd just wait til he got here. He's Kole Delmarno for pete's sake he probably already knew.
Lost in the thought of Kole's sparkling blue eyes, I started to drift to sleep. How I loved him. Him and his sweet soul. He pretends to be all tough but I mean he wouldn't harm a fly...
